I usually just do what I normally would be doing if I didn't have anything to do. I don't usually wait until I sit down and look at my work to start procrastinating. For me, the procrastination begins as soon as I am assigned the work, and it becomes more of matter of when I will finally find the will power to actually open up my bookbag after class and start. One good thing though, is that once I start, the momentum will usually be enough to keep me working until I finish, and I probably won't wander off halfway through. I find that listening to GameGrumps in the background to engage myself in a way that isn't work related often helps a lot though to keep my mind from wandering, because I am doing something that I enjoy doing(listening to GameGrumps) while I work, so I lose a lot of temptation to do anything else like pick up Pokemon Black 2 for example, and go back to EV training or something since I got the Pokerus and saved a sample in my box, since that makes me want to play it all the time. I have also been forcing myself to get started on my work earlier, so that has been less of an issue.
