You are not alone though for while I don't get the itching feel from watches I too short them out as well. Electromagnetic cards also die on me quite quickly which is why I don't carry them near my person, not like I need bank access while I am at work or sitting at my computer while at home. The reusable stuff, such a hotel key cards, can burn out in less then a few hours if I have it in my pocket but they just reprint them anyway so no harm there.

In any case it isn't anything to be worried about as it is just a higher then average electromagnetic field being generated by your body. Your body, having generated it, should be used to it and won't just suddenly go into arrest over this higher conductivity. There are a few down sides, of course, but I don't think your going to be dancing in a thunder storm any time soon or the other ridiculous things you would need to do to raise your chances of becoming a human capacitor.

Also most devices won't be affected by it, the field is only generated close to the body and has only a limited range, so your computer and the likes should be alright for the most part. The worse you face is shortened life span of components as your presence makes them work a bit hotter... but I consider it a complement myself. Buy them under warranty so if they break due to electromagnetic interference you can send it in to be replaced.

Fear not your field, be proud of the fact you are a walking EMP!

So far I have to say I've come down on the side of the woman. Given that one of my brothers and some of his friends are troll observers (they watch but never take part), I consider that this is nothing more then a publicity stunt as well as a scam to score some easy cash and sympathy.

Given that, according to the wiki link, he's the head of some sort of group which campaigns against this kind of thing, that makes me wonder how they keep in contact or find out about one another in the first place... They can't exactly go and scan the interwebz, or make a phone call to 118 118 or some equivalent company. Do they all write letters to one another? How do they get each other's addresses? Why has no one else considered this?!!!

Ether way, I hope that woman wins. If only so that after the court case we can get a photo of his face. Taken of course, with an iphone, uploaded onto an ipad and posted onto the escapist using wif. While standing within 5 feet of him at all times of course.

Electromagnetic hypersensitivity? Maybe this guy should take on the X-Men.

I dub thee "King Troll" because if he really was the sensitive to eletromagnetic fields beign produced by electronics wouldn't his brain fall out everytime he switched on a light?

Wow... this is just plain ridiculous. I'm finding it hard to believe, but I HAVE to believe it, 'cos it's on the INTERNET!

Well there's only two possibilities right, that he's full of it (infinitely probable) or that he's being honest and has some kind of strange disorder that modern technology sets off (exceedingly unlikely). If he's full of it then one has to hope that his case is at worst defeated and at best thrown out and he slapped with fines for wasting the court's time. More interesting is the discussion arising from the incredible notion of his being right in which case we have a real and legitimate case of someone who has a genetic mutation making him less suited to his environment, which would be the precise opposite of evolution.

If indeed he is right then not only should his court case be thrown out on the grounds that he's attempting to infringe on another human being's freedoms, but he absolutely must be excised from the breeding population. Allowing a mutation like that to occur, one that disables the most advanced tools of our time from functioning... or rather the person from being able to use those tools, that's bad enough, but to allow the remote possibility of the mutation spreading into another generation is beyond reckless. Obviously the government shouldn't have the power to determine our evolution so I say we all ought to call upon people living in that area to purge this luddite mutant.

He claims to have a sensitivity to electromagnetic waves?
Does he suffer these problems when he's in light?
'cause visible light IS AN ELECTROMAGNETIC WAVE!!!

Wow. If I was the neighbor, I'd turn everything off and tell him as much. Wait an hour or so and then just slowly start turning on electronic gizmos and see if he comes over or calls to complain about anything. If not, then he's a liar. If so, then maybe there's some grounds to his claim, but I think it's mostly psycho-somatic.

It sounds like BS, although i wouldn't know if you can really be allergic to electromagnetic devices. Anyways sucks to be him since everything wireless these days seem to have a frequency of 2.4GHz

I hope the guy loses because it's not real!

As confirmed by blind tests over the years and the PROFESSOR OF PHYSICS they spoke to.

I wonder if his 'condition' is affected by the electromagnetic fields emanating from the electrical wiring in his home...

No? Thought not...

This is absolutely bizarre. I think I just feel sad from this article. I can't even find it that sad, it's far too pathetic. Not so much at the guy's claims, but just from him trying to interfere with how someone else lives. I mean, if it's THAT BAD why live in a city at all? Eek.

If he wore an Aluminium hat, it would block out all extraneous signals.

If he were so desperate to get away from the signals, he would get some uninhabitated piece of desert in the middle of nowhere.
Actually he should just line his house with a faraday cage and it would solve his problem. none of the radiation he is worried about would be able to get through.
Given that he thinks these signals can cause health issues, I doubt he knows what a Faraday's cage is.
