I got to play a small bit of this at E3 and liked it FAR more than Diabolical Box.
What did you think of the Diabolical Box, by the way? I, obviously, am a big fan of the Curious Village and while I enjoyed the Diabolical Box, I really didn't feel like it was anywhere close to the Curious Village.

It was fine, but I thought it lacked the charm of Curious Village. The puzzles felt rehashed, the story felt phoned in. I finished it, but more out of a sense of obligation than genuine enjoyment.

One of my main complaints is that Don Paolo just shows up out of no where and once he gets scared off he never comes back.

Professor Layton has a sword fight with a vampire. That's pretty much all you need to gain my forgiveness for fact that it just wasn't as good.

But if what you say is true, then it looks like I've got even more of a reason to be excited for this game. And I've been keeping up with it for a while. I've actually accidentally called it the Last Time Travel several times...

I fail to see how it somehow pits the genders and not the individuals and their abilities to solve puzzles. No scientific control, but considering it's just a marketing scheme I guess it's pretty good.

The story was still pretty awesome, though.
