You all probably have that one project you wanted to do, but weren't able to. So, how come you weren't able to do it? And what's the project you wanted to do? Ever think you'll get on it? Discuss.

Me, a project I wanted to get on but couldn't was to start reviewing video game books (and maybe other books on the side). This was pretty much killed by several factors:

- Books are expensive. And seeing as it'd be highly unlikely I'd be paid to do the reviews, not to mention I'm unemployed, I'd run out review material fast.
- Not only is the nearest library closed for renovations for who knows how long, I can't get a library card since I can't get an ID that says I live where I currently live. Also, libraries usually don't have video game books. So I wouldn't be able to get books to review.
- It'd take me a bit to read a book, probably not on a fast enough basis to churn out enough frequent reviews. And if the book is bad, it'll take me longer to finish it.
- I don't know how I'd have the review format be. I kept going back and for on whether to do it in a written format, or a video format. Either way, it'd take me a while to do the review. Written, it'd take me a while to write since I'm not good with writing things within a deadline, not to mention I tend to put off writing since I often don't like writing. Video, I have a crap camera, and there's often a lot of noise going on where I live, I have no video editing programs, not to mention the fact that it'd be hard to do an entertaining video review on books.

Will I ever get on it? Probably not.

My little, little project was the editing of an entire Vogue magazine with photo shopped pictures of my lady love and editing the articles and ads with humor because i thought it'd be something she's find hilarious and she's a fan of the magazine, thought giving her her own magazine would be a cutesey thing to do.

A mixture of me being unsure about the hilarity of the articles i was creating and just the general nervousness of it all made me not finish it, i might do some day. *shrug*
Also the damn magazine in itself is huge!.

It's got to be this one video I want to do with my friends ever since I got a video camera. They can't be bothered to do it with me. =/

If you're including big-scale, future projects, it's got to be bringing the video game I have in my mind to life.

Why can't I do it? The main reason is that I'm only 16.

In the future... I might. Be on the lookout for the Sci-fi/Fantasy RPS epic, the Aether trilogy.

I had the desire to parkour (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parkour) for very long time now, unfortunately I live in a fairly rural area with little buildings to climb and no rails to vault over.

Also, none of my friends are interested to join me, and I'm afraid I'll look like an idiot, jumping over benches at my local park alone ;P
Pretty much my thoughts last summer. This summer I was going to try and learn to play soccer really well... Never really got around to obtaining a soccer ball.

I was also going to try and beat the 30+ unfinished games that I have sitting on my shelf. Believe it or not, I actually managed to procrastinate on playing videogames. Although, I did end up softmodding my Wii due to the whole procrastination process. In the end I sold 3/4 of the games I wanted to finish and gave up on completing the rest.

Wow, I'm one lazy ************.

I really want to learn leatherworking, but the supplies are expensive and I'd ruin a lot of stuff learning on my own, so I haven't done it yet.

I also want to write a book, but my free time gets om nom nommed by other things.

I wanted to write a book, I had so many ideas. But my free time got taken up with university and uni just took all the life out of me and I lost the heart to do it. I also lost the heart to really sit down and play the 50+ games I have sitting there that I need to beat, but also my laptop can't play many games so I couldn't quite do them all. I'm also meant to be starting up a blog, I tend to take badly written books and pull quotes out of them, my friends think it's hilarious and told me I should do a blog full of them. But my own self doubt about the hilarity of what I do is what is stopping me.

Well the kind of projects that involve improving myself I can do, like cycling and piano practice for an hour a day.
However in terms of producing anything, I can never find the long lasting desire to do so, so I haven't started up a blog or written a book or finished any songs or snything like that, unfortunately. I'm not going to make any excuses as to why I haven't done any of these things, I recognise that I have the capacity to do what I want but not the desire.

To make my own comicbook but I lack the motiviation and the will to learn how to draw. Also I am also impatience when it come to drawing comicbook like stuff (characters, building and etc) since I rather be a pro in a instance instead of spending years homing my skill to draw better.

I have wanted to write and direct (and possibly act in) a movie, play piano and work on an RPG that would essentially be about a hero who fights against a Cult, but have it be completely different then what the description suggests, and actually make it a well written deep character study.

As of this writing, I have a movie script I'm working on (22 pages in), I'm teaching myself piano slowly, and I don't have the ability to program, let alone do I know how to figure out RPG makers of any kind.

That being said, if somebody thinks the RPG idea is kind of cool, I'd love to work on it. I need somebody to program, I'll do all the writing, no problem. Otherwise it's something I'll have to learn how to do someday (If I feel like it).

2 buddies and I started a web comic awhile back. I took care of the site and was a co-writer. One buddy co-wrote with me, the other was our artist. Artist buddy flaked as artists are wont to do (kidding).

Co-writer buddy and I would still love to get cracking on this but we don't know any artists as good as original flaky artist guy. Boo.

I would also love to film a low budget adaptation of Stephen King's The Long Walk. I loved The Hunger Games but King's Long Walk is superior in my opinion. Possibly entirely due to the fact that I read it ages before reading The Hunger Games and loved it way back when.

I'd then love to send said film to Mr. King and get his thoughts. It's a dream.

I was going to create a tabletop RPG for me and my friends to play. I made up character sheets, destroyed my other board games for the board itself(It covered the whole table by the time I was done), and I wrote up the lore. It would have had a bunch of stupid inside jokes and ridiculous plot default plot devices, but I got bored and ran out of money for art supplies so I gave up. Might revisit the idea though

At the moment? Reformatting 2 laptops, 3 desktops including an antique with various installations of Linux.

Seemingly however even after burning 15 different discs, across several different distros I cannot manage to get a working bootable disc to install the OS and I am at a loss on what I am doing wrong.

Long term.. In 2007 I started an idea for an animation studio, to which I still have the original proofs, However real life got in the way and the production got put onto indefinite hiatus. Actually looking to revive the project hopefully by this time next year.
