Proof That the World's Ending In 2012!

There's a Buffy the Vampire Slayer remake in the works and is supposed to be scheduled for release in 2012. The man who directed the awful first movie is returning to do this one. Joss Whedon has nothing to do with, and neither do the actors. Anthony Stewart head has come out and said that he will not be watching.

He sais, "I wouldn?t want to see it, no. The Kuzuis [Directors] didn?t do a great job on the movie the first time around. It was Joss? script at the age of 19, but they changed a lot of it. They said, ?Look, we know best and we know how to make this movie,? and it became quite schlocky and high camp. It would be madness to do (the movie) without Whedon. It may be a bit like watching a car wreck."

Of course, to make matters worse, Megan Fox is rumoured to be in the running for the part of Buffy. She just didn't get enough of ruining the hell out of Transformers, now she has to ruin my favorite show from my teen years.

So, fans of Buffy, what do you think of all this? Do you think it'll be good? bad? Will it suck more than a $5 hooker on cheque day in the trailer park?

Non-fans, what do you think. Did Joss Whedon or any of the actors from the show turn you off from the story? Will you be more interested in seeing it now?

Although I did not watch Buffy. My mother owns every season, and I have to say you don't mess with a classic. Especially a classic that's really not that old in the first place.

I never really liked Buffy. I know Seth Green was in it, so that's a plus. But I really couldn't care less when compared to how much Michael Bay is going to rape my precious A Nightmare on Elm Street.

Well I have never seen an episode of Buffy, but I can say that most modern movies suck, and that reboots of old series' suck, therefore this movie will be:

So no, I'm not going to see it. Movie makers need to get the message that we aren't going to fall for this nostalgia stuff anymore.

I had a bout of Nerd Rage before I wrote this. So pissed off, especially considering that the story is still going strong in comic book form.

I never really liked Buffy. I know Seth Green was in it, so that's a plus. But I really couldn't care less when compared to how much Michael Bay is going to rape my precious A Nightmare on Elm Street.

How the hell is Michael Bay going to pull off a Nightmare On Elm Street remake? There's not a single explosion in that series, except maybe two that I can think of. What's he going to do? Change Freddy's knives to explode-o-matic fingers?

That's cool. A lot of people agree with you, otherwise Firefly and Angel would probably still be on the air. I just find his sense of humour to be spot on, and he dialogue to be very quotable. He also has a knack for coming up with the oddest situations.

Not a fan of Buffy (never even seen one episode), but Megan Fox is a plastic woman, animated by dark forces and evil of the purest, blackest sort. Anything she stars in is evil, no two ways about it.

Megan Fox would actually win my respect if she put a steak (of the sharp, wooden kind, not the meaty, tasty kind) in the heart of Edward Cullen. Then no longer would the world have to suffer his handsome, chiseled, and thoroughly fucking annoying face.
