I never really liked Buffy. I know Seth Green was in it, so that's a plus. But I really couldn't care less when compared to how much Michael Bay is going to rape my precious A Nightmare on Elm Street.

Yeah I heard about that, why he feels the need to go back and remake so many old horror flicks without at least putting some new ideas into it confuses me. That said even though I have a strong conviction that the new Nightmare will suck, one thing that got my attention was that Jackie Earle Haley (the guy who was Rorschach in Watchmen) will be playing Freddy. Now I really like that actor but I hate the director so if I watch this movie I think I'm going to suffer a lot of mixed emotions.

As for the topic:
Maybe it would be better if the world ended on 2012 if this was seriously going to happen, I'm not particularly fussed but my sister is a huge Buffy fan and she would most likely flip at hearing this and go on a murder spree.

I feel bad for Jackie. He's not my favorite actor, but he deserves to be in better stuff than this. Good actors deserve paychecks, but being in a movie associated with Bay is like being a whore. The closest thing Bay has ever even gotten to "mediocre" was the production company he bought off of James Cameron, and that's only if he was in the same room as Cameron (who I like, but the point is that being in the same room as him would be the closest he'd ever get to even being passable).
