Razi watched as the city slowly changed and turned into a small little rural community. It was quaint. At one time, it appeared to have been a hot spot. Now, half the buildings were run down and falling apart. Doc had left her with Lydia and told her to go back to the hideout. So, she did. Part of her dreaded going back to the small town with nothing exciting but a bowling alley and a bar.
She ripped the wheel and spun into the parking lot of an abandoned car shop. The rusty doors were a clear sign that it hadn't been used in years. Razi waited for the dust to settle, before she opened her door and then opened the back door. She reached in a pulled out the unhelpful scientist.
Lydia was bound hand and foot and Razi just dragged her along the dirt and gravelled patch before pulling her inside the shop. "This is what you get for pissing me off, by the way, dear."
Razi smirked and left Lydia in the middle of the room as she hunted down another few feet of rope. Upon her return, Razi pulled the woman to a support pole and tied Lydia securely to it. "Now, if you don't mind, I'm going to take a nap. I hope you don't mind."
However, just as Razi had settled down to sleep, she faintly heard a male voice. After a few seconds, she realized that it was Doc. He was on his way back. "Damn you Doc," she whispered, "I wanted to sleep."
