You all make me laugh, and not in a good way if you can be proud of something such as a belief in no God.
You also make me laugh, similarly not in a good way. We're proud to believe that theres no higher cause such as God or the Devil or whatever. And people like you, who take the time to go through the online dictionaries to back up your pitiful drivel, have no right to criticize.

Sorry Webster, but you've lost that argument.
What argument? You haven't actually made a point. Although you have proven mine rather well, so thank you.

I prefer to take the time with my responses, you say that like it's a bad thing. Considering you are an atheist I would have thought using logic, in other words, backing up a point with evidence would be high priority to you.

It would illogical for me to claim that you are arrogant and self important if I did not use a definition as a way of making my point, how else would I prove it? Being proud is to have self importance, to have self importance over what you would almost certainly claim as "a logical viewpoint" is pathetic.

It's like me claiming to be proud that I believe in gravity.
I fail to see how believes in the non-existence of an omnipotent being, which in fact is very highly considered opinion in which people base their lives on, even compares with the existence of gravity, which is proven fact, like it or not.

Furthermore, I fail to see how my so called arrogance and self importance has been brought into this by merely saying I'm proud to say that I reject the belief of God. I admit I have an arrogance tendency but I think I can safely say it isn't fueled by my belief of God.

If anything, it shows you to be more of the arrogant person for criticizing the opinions of others, and that just makes me sick. Perhaps you should find something better to do with your time. You may benefit.

Anyway, this is immaterial and I have a lot of other things I could be doing. So this'll be my last subject on the matter as I don't want to fuel a flame war in which you needlessly created for no adequately explained reason on this thread.
I think you are missing the point. He is equating 'no belief in god' and 'gravity'. If the norm world wide was to not believe in gravity, those who do would most definitely be very proud to believe in gravity. Being right, and going against the grain is something to be proud of. Thats why being an atheist is important to us, because we can see what others do not. (at least in our minds) And that is the source of our pride.

This thread actually made me think for a second, it's not so clear-cut as I immediately thought.

I am proud to be me. Not anyone else, me.
