and timesplitters 2 and 4 ahhh madness
bad you
I must be the spawn of the devil then, because Burnout: Revenge is not only my favorite Burnout, but probably my favorite PS2 game ever.
I was going to mention SSX, but the list is too long already. (lol)
yes you are. It took the awesome skilled driving from takedown and went "i know what'll make this game better, removing the challenge". Cars bouncing off of you, urgh this was my reaction when i played it.

because its one of the few examples of a sequel i was excited for.
Feel free to steal that clip its quite useful when posting about betrayls.
I hate to start an argument, but I completely disagree. Some of the later levels were very challenging, especially road rages. And trust me, five-staring everything is not easy.
Plus, the courses and cars were more interesting (IMO), the soundtrack was slightly better, crash mode didn't include BS like heartbreaker (even if mashing the pump was stupid) and the traffic attack mode was fun. Yeah, Burnout 3 is harder, but Burnout: Revenge is by no means easy. Besides, I don't feel games have to be super challenging to be fun. My rating for Burnout Series from best to worst:
Burnout Revenge
Burnout 3
Burnout Paradise
Burnout 2
Burnout Dominator (No crash mode? WTF?)
Burnout (never played it, but if it doesn't have boost and takedowns, forget it)
Burnout Legends for DS (the horror!)
But to each his own, of course.
