A friend of mine (who can't really afford a ps3: he works at the university) recently asked me this and I got some good answers for him here.

Most of the really epic games (Like Fallout 3) are available (and better) on the PC anyway. You should've waited to sell until you played GoW3.
Yeah, i did think that, Gow3 and FF13 were games i wanted to play, too late i guess... hehe ill get around to them in a year or so :p

Champions of Norrath: Return To Arms was amazing with 3 good friends. I think we wasted about 100 hours or so on it, and we kept making new characters. Great social game. Shame I don't have a PS2 now that I've moved countries.

If you have no friends to play with, either online (I think the servers are online still.) or local, it may not be as interesting. But it's great fun with a pal or three.

Ah i may look at that, me and my 2 friends order a Chinese on a Friday if we are too tired to go out, so we play some of my old consoles.

FF13 should end up on the PC eventually: it will probably take a few months like gta4.
GoW3 on the other hand, probably wont.

Pretty sure that was a PS1 game rather than PS2. Backwards compatible, sure, but still.

As for the list:

Zone of the Enders 1+2
Resident Evil 4
God of War 1+2
Kingdom Hearts 1+2 (and RE:CoM if you're in NA)
Metal Gear Solid 2+3
DMC1+3
GTA: Vice City+San Andreas
Armored Core series.
Final Fantasy X+X-2+XII.
Kingdom Hearts! Wooooooo! The only game I've ever completed. Would have been 100% completed, but I could never beat Sephiroth in the Platinum match. I also have the agree with the final fantasty titles.

My boyfreind would like to contribute the Timspliter series. For it's story (particularly for futureproof he says), and for, I quote: "the huge lols playing it, like when the giant zombie deer busts thorugh the wall and it's all 'You're in trouble now!' have to bust out the boomstick for that."

I agree with pretty much every other person here, Ratchet and Clank should be considered one of the best. I also personally liked the Burnout and Timesplitters games :)

I just dont see why ms would have them port it to the 360 and not the pc. I bet you it will get there eventually, if they think it will make money.
