If you liked Castlevania: Lament of Innocence, I strongly suggest Curse of Darkness. Probably my second fave (blasphemy, i know right?) of the series next to Symphony of the Night. And I wish I could find my copy of Lament of Innocence...

I'll also add Prince of Persia: Sands of Time.

And the Silent Hill fanboy in me wants to say SH 2, 3 and 4. But, it may not be your cup of tea.

Black if you're into FPS's

Sly Racoon (I've only played 1 but I've heard good things about the other 2) if you want something a bit different

Final Fantasy X if you want a damn good JRPG

Disgaea if you want a good story with some of my favourite characters on the PS2 (but don't get Disgaea 2)

Spiderman 2 if you want an amazing open world for a ps2 and the best web swinging action on any console

God Of War or God Of War 2, seriously if you like DMC you will like GoW and this is coming from a man who played DMV3 for 50 hours

Enter the Matrix: Path of Neo. Serious this game is so underrated, plays the story from the Matrix but makes them a lot more fun. Keeps key scenes and adds in new interesting ones, plus the combat is simple to use but takes time to master and get amazing with. If you can find this gem I would thoroughly recommend it

Finally if you are planning to get Ratchet and Clank, trust me getting Ratchet and Clank 2 & 3 are good choices too but do not get Ratchet and Clank: Gladiator, anyone who is a fan of the series will know why but 2 & 3 just improve on the original formula
Killer7 was a hell of a lot of fun but it is quite rare, if you can find a copy I would give it a try if you want a bit of mindless fun

If you are a fan of GTA then get Bully, another criminally underrated game

Star Wars Battefront 2, this game took so many hours just playing hour long matches against NPC's on various maps. Space fights, jedi and loads of maps to play, if you are a fan of star wars then it is essential, if you don't I would still recommend it because it has such good gameplay

Sorry for the epic post, I spent a good portion of my life with a ps2 and played a hell of a lot of games and most of yours among my favourite so I've had to dig deep within my collect to give you a good recommendation

Hope this helps

I really want to rebuy Gran Turismo 3 or 4 soon.
Metal Gear Solid 3 is needed as well.

Timesplitters 2 is a must have, but I only have 3 now.

You are the third man to mention TimeSplitters so far, not enough!

Seriously, get TimeSplitters, second one is most important.

Marvel VS Capcom 2 (Good luck finding it)

Edit: ICO is on both of your lists :)

Castlevania Curse of Darkness, Dark Cloud 2, MGS2&3, FFX, FFX-2 (don't hate me, I like that one), Ratchet and Clank 2, DMC 1, Digital Devil Saga 1 & 2 if you are into JRPGs, Timesplitters 2 and 3, Culdcept

Tons of good choices for ps2, can't go wrong with just going down metacritic high rated list.

My hero! This exactly. Also, if you like Baldur's Gate, you might want to try Demon Stone. The mechanics aren't as good but the story and voice acting are top-notch.

Also, Final Fantasy X was pretty great if you can ignore the main character :( lol

Man, I wish I still had my PS2 and collection. I can't remember all of the games I had (I had A LOT) but here are some that stick out most in my mind that I think you should definitely get hold of.

Way of the Samurai 1 + 2
Killzone
Syro 1 - 3 (I know they are PS1 but still)
Red Faction 2
Blood Omen 2
Gun
Need for Speed: Most Wanted
GTA III, Vice City and San Andreas
Star Wars Battlefront II
God of War
Primal (severally underrated)
Onimusha 1 - 3

Finally! Someone else who knows that game

I sold it a while back though and I've yet to find it anywhere else. What the fuck is wrong with me? Why the hell did I sell it?

Awesome game. I played it when I was in 8th grade (Currently in college) and I bought it a while back. It came with a poster.
