Yes it's me again..

Now i'm wondering which one to get. The 120 gb slim or the 250 gb slim.
250 GB seems like a lot of storage and the other one is like 70$ cheaper.

But i'm pretty lost in this area. Which one should i get?

Meh, how many demo's do you REALLY need on your hard drive? You can stream movies from your computer through your ps3.

I did just fine with my 8 gig 360 hard drive for several years.

The 120 gb. Its cheaper and 120gb of storage is more than enough. Also if you ever run out space you can replace the any hard drive. There is no special sony hard drive that cost a lot and must be used. So yeah but the 120gb and save $70.00, or but a game. IMO but the 120gb.

YES. if you plan on getting anything like the Fallout 3 DLC or awakening you will need it. I have a 60gb so I have to wait for the on disc Goty editions.

Depending on how hard that extra $70 is then it would probably be better to get that. Though it all depends how many games you get that require installs, how many of those you'll actually play often and so on.

I've got the 250gb Slim myself and I'll be honest with you it's nice to know you've got plenty of space for storage, but If you don't think you'll need that much space, then chances are you really don't need it.

you might do. remember PS3 has to do installations for all games. i don't know how big they are but eventually it will probably fill up.
Can't you delete games when you're finished with them?

They don't make 2TB hard drives just for the supercomputer market, you know.

250GB is teeny-tiny.
250 gb is actually small

but i guess it deppends in if he is planning on buying many downloadable games, in which case the more the better

if not, the smaller one would be OK

Assuming thats still possible.

120GB, save the money now and upgrade to a 750GB when you need the extra space.

I've had a PS3 for about a year and a half and opted for the prole friendly 80 GB option. I have yet to make a significant dent in the allotted space. Of course, it must be said that my PS3 is the red-headed stepchild of my contemporary gaming collection and plays host only to blue ray movies and PS3 exclusive titles so your mileage may vary.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148446 - 320GB 7200RPM hard drive for $45, free shipping. You could buy a 120GB PS3, swap out the drive, have it bigger than the 250GB one, save $5 and sell your 120GB for some extra money (or keep it as a backup).

There is simply no value in buying a PS3 with a larger hard drive. In fact if they've got an older 40GB model for $250 instead of $300, get that one and buy a hard drive upgrade. It's not like the Xbox 360 where you're stuck with Microsoft's peripheral and buying larger to start with saves you money.
