EDIT: Get the one with backwords compatiblity, I think that one is either 80 or 120 gigs.
This is pointless advice. The PS3 actually has games out for it now, so backwards compatibility isn't needed anymore, and it's also not much help. If you do want one with backwards compatibility you want one with 4USB ports instead of 2. That's how you can tell if it has backwards compatibility, not the hard drive size.

I have a 120gb myself and find it suits all my gaming needs and I downloaded alot of add-ons and I am a pretty profilic gamer and my harddrive shows no signs of filling. So I'm just saying that a 120gb did me fine

But the PS2 had a great library too.

PS2 Slim is less than $50 second hand and is almost as thin as a game case. There really is no need for it to be integrated though.

It depends on you. If you like to play tons of games at once then you may want the bigger one. I have a 60gb from when the first came out and i've done fine. I just delete stuff that i dont play anymore. For you that'll take awhile with the 120gb. The bonus is that on the PS3 everything you buy is tied to your account so you can redownload stuff for free anytime you want it back. You can delete installs to help out with space. That's what I do. And in case your worried about it, installs and saves are NOT tied together.
