Just to make this clear, most Ps3 exclusives are vastly overrated, especially Infamous and most PSN titles.
I actually thought inFAMOUS was a pretty fun game, but yeah, the PSN games do suck (for the most part.)
Yeah, I liked InFamous as well. LittleBig Planet was good too, but resistance and Killzone 2 weren't that great.

And then there's God of War....
One likes Infamous and LBP but not God Of War!?
I hope you rot in Hades, I really do.
No no, I meant God of War was another good game. Sorry about the misinterpretation, I don't want to go to Hades. :(

Metal Gear Solid 4
Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction + A Crack in Time (not Quest for Booty)
inFamous
Prototype
Assassin's Creed (possibly 2)

That's about all I can recommend.

OP: I suggest you get PS3 exclusives. (As few as they are) They're actually pretty good, or so I hear. But I suggest you keep the 360 and if you feel like buying a multiplatform game then buy it for the 360 to save money.
Um how exactly do you do that? Is there some exchange program where you can make money by playing on XBL? Cause if you end up having to pay a monthly fee, then won't the 360 game cost more?
If he's playing the single-player multiplatform games like Bioshock, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Oblivion, Fallout 3, Dead Space or Prototype then the price of online play is irrelevant.
Ok, but then they would be the same price wouldn't they? So then were does he "save money" again? Because I am still not getting that.
I guess I'm used to walking into my local game store (EB Games Australia) and seeing most of the PS3 games more expensive than the 360 game. Good thing I don't actually buy games from there.

Well that isn't true every where, just like I can't assume that making right turns at red lights is legal in other countries. But sorry about that, kind of sucks. It is weird, I am always hearing about strange things about the gaming market in Australia.

Don't sell your 360. I have both, and every multiplatform game I've played is significantly better on the 360. Don't take that as my telling you to not buy a ps3, because the exclusives are awsome (I'm particualary a fan of MGS4 and I'm really excited about demon souls), The PS3 exclusives I have are far better than my xbox 360 exclusives. So, basicially, I wouldn't sell the 360.
Significantly? No, if anything its a slight difference.
I don't pretend to have played every game on both, however it isn't uncommon for PS3 multiplatform games to have a maximum resolution of 720p where the 360 release has 1080p (brutal legend for example). I'm not going to try and think up an exhaustive list nor do I plan on arguing it further, in my experience that's how it is.
You are lying to yourself, your eyes deceive you.

You can't think up an exhaustive list because there isn't one, your not planning on arguing it further because you are unable too.

Or it could be more to do with my not wanting to dig through either the internet or my own games archive so as to prove that the xbox 360 upscales where the ps3 does not, the list of games upscaled on xbox but not PS3 is rather large (like, 95% of all releases). 720p is the most popular option and the upscaling of the xbox is a nice touch.

The cold hard facts are the master/slave 2900 based gpu in the xbox is far more capable than the 7800 based chipset in the PS3, so it really isn't surprising that games desgined across platforms (that is to say, games not designed opimially for the ps3) are inferior. It may be that I am looking for differences, but whether or not I want them to be there, they are there. Whether you think my eyes are lying to me or not, the xbox 360 has more upscaling and is undeniably easier to work with and in my experience plays multiplatform games better. Being better on one console isn't restricted to graphics, there's also the whole multiplayer thing as well (while xbox live is terrible in Australia, it is easier to use than PSN and PSN matchmaking only ever seems better because it doesn't constantly laugh at me for throwing money at it).

At any rate, my advice remains the same, do not sell the 360 for a ps3, just wait a few months until you can afford it...
Its very rare that a game is programmed in 720p, Halo 3 is actually something like 696 or 666 (ohhhh spooky!).

After I made that comment I remembered the upscaling thing, but that can go terribly wrong ala "Haze".

Anyway, excellent comment Dys, I did enjoy reading that.
