After going forward to PC and Wii U, I recently checked my backlog of PS+ games on PS3. Mainly I checked to see if any of the games I had been looking to pick up cheap on Steam were on there. Lo and behold, I found a whole slew of games I have access to that I had been watching to buy on Steam when they are on sale. But I don't have enough HD space on my PS3 to store them all (25-30 GB) - and there may be some on the list that aren't worth buying on PC at all (bad ports? awkward PC controls? no graphical benefit to PC?). Is Bioshock 2 worth it if I've played 1 and am going to play Infinite? Is it worth it to play both KoA and DD?

What order should I play them, if at all? How would you do it?

Note: I'd rather not install any game more than once, so I'll "complete" them as much as I care to before moving on (as in finish the story or until I?m utterly bored). I probably won't 100% and I will probably alternate short/long games and FPS v. RPG.

Bioshock 2
Bioshock Infinite
Kingdoms of Amalur
Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen
Spec-Ops: The Line
Remember Me
Tomb Raider (reboot)
Hitman Absolution

Spec Ops: The Line can be completed in a sitting. It is going to be an emotionally excruciating sitting, but still...
After that I would go to Bioshock 2, Infinite and Tomb Raider. In fact, Bioshock 2 adds nothing to the mythology of the series, so feel free to skip it. If you want a shorter but sweat Bioshock 2 experience, get Minerva's Den.

Kingdoms of Amalur is extremely long, extremely... It is also very repetitive, so feel free to stop playing if you loose interest; or keep it in the background between other games sessions.

I played halfway through Remember Me and Hitman Absolution before they bored me, so I can't say I know about them, but you should remember that to stop playing a game because you are not enjoying it should always be a possibility.

As mentioned above, Spec-Ops: The Line is a short but worthwile experience you can beat in a day or two. Obviously the RPGs are gonna be longer. Havent played Amalur, but Dragon's Dogma is a fun open-world game that feels straight out of the DnD Monster Manuel, but with some Dark Souls and Shadows of the Colossus mixed in. If you intend on completing it, well, it wont be short.

Absolution is a much longer game than Spec Ops, but another game that is done with once beaten if you dont care for achievements.

I dont think Bioshock 2 matters for Infinite, but I plan on beating 2 before I play Infinite. (Ive currently only beaten 1)

-Dragon's Dogma. I really loved the combat of the game especially against the big creatures. The game has some of the most epic battles you'll experience; the last boss and the optional hydra were really great. At one point I was riding on a dragon's head during a tornado. Don't get too hung up doing side quests like most RPGs. The game definitely has it flaws as fighting normal enemies becomes repetitive and the questing is nothing special at all.

-Bioshock Infinite. I really ended up almost loving the game. There's a middle section just like the original Bioshock that is very sidequest-y and doesn't make much sense with regards to plot. I really enjoyed the gameplay; yeah, it's dumbed-down but it's more fun and frantic IMO. Not too far into the game, you can run around with power weapons pretty much the whole time (even on the hardest mode where you can't buy ammo). Yeah, the enemies are bullet spongy to machine guns but again, you really should use the power weapons like the whole game. The core story does work much better than Bioshock IMO (worst assassination plot ever). Lastly, the characters are definitely stronger than Bioshock.

-Tomb Raider. It was a pretty fun game that was much more enjoyable than the last 2 Uncharteds IMO. Don't expect old-school TR stuff with regards to puzzles and platforming.

Amalur isn't so bad if you just do the main and faction quests with a very light sprinkle of side quests. Also, put the game on hard (normal is too easy) and have fun with the combat system, it's pretty good.

Spec-Ops is the obvious choice if you love story driven games. It borders on psychological horror. Play it through, then delete it and play something else. Maybe Bioshock Infinite.

Thanks for the input all.

Decided to go with Bioshock 2 first, since I liked the first one on PC. I guess the PC port (pre-remaster) did little to the game so graphically its barely different. I liked the surprise of
being a Big Daddy
which somehow I had forgotten.

I should probably wait on Infinite so I don't burn out, but I already downloaded it and 2. I know they switch up a lot, but the gameplay still seems similar.

I hate bad controls, so Spec-Ops is borderline, and Tomb Raider was already pretty low on my priorities, as was Hitman.

Lastly, between Dragon's Dogma and Kingdoms of Amalur, after reading reviews I want to play DD much more, but am really questioning performance. Is the performance really that bad on PS3? Is it noticable, and at least tolerable, or will I just want to buy the PC version out of frustration? I guess I can at least try first and see.
