Just my luck and my mum had to spill water on my PS3 Dual-shock Six-axis controller. After some d-pad malfunctioning and drying it off and putting back together all buttons work except L2 and also note that vibrating only works when NOT wireless for some reason. L2 button seems to be put in the same exact way as R2 but R2 works and L2 doesn't.
Have any of you experienced something like this and have a solution because those things are bloody expensive :(. Thanki

Why did you take it apart? I dropped my 360 control into a bowl of cereal and it worked. (But it was realllllllllyyyyyyyyy gross).

OT: I'm guessing you can't buy a new controller? Take off the L2 button and put it back on after close inspection to make sure all the correct things are attached.

Hi I took it apart because it did not work at all. (I just removed the top and the button just fell off). After I dried it off (it was wet all over) everything seemed to be back to normal and worked but L2 did not work + vibrating unless attached with USB.

Can you tell how exactly L2 has to be put. The problem is that it seems that L2 is put correctly but it is a little more loose than R2 (it has a spring though). Should the spring in L2 be put a little more differently than R2?

Also, does L2 spring has to touch something on the other side or something. It looks like as if the spring is put the same way as R2 one but R2 works and L2 does not. Cheers.
