Yeah, seriously. Microsoft is more deserving, considering that they bailed on thousands to millions of customers who bought their technologically insufficient heaps of scrap.Kadoodle said:How so, bro?lithium.jelly said:Hahaha, that's hilarious. -Electronics giant LG won its preliminary injunction against Sony in a patent battle over Blu-ray playback technology, a civil court in The Hague, Netherlands ruled.Hardcore_gamer said:Uhm, what did Sony do to LG in the frist place.Bobbity said:You linked IGN?!
Seriously though, this seems a little extreme. I can see LG being pissed with Sony, but impounding all PS3s in an entire continent? Really?
To the OP: There is no way the PS3 will be banned in all of Europe, does anyone here actually believe otherwise?
Not to mention that it would be extremely bad for LG's image if it were to take away what I assume is the reason a considerable number of people bought a LG TV in the first place.

From what I understood after reading the article, Sony's being embargoed in Europe because... they have Blu-Ray technology in their console? Seriously, where the hell has LG been all this time if they're suing Sony now for technology they've had in the system since the first generation of the console was released? The PS3 was first released in the U.S. over four years ago, and LG waits until now to bring this up? *facepalm*
Sony sued LG last year for using some patent that LG had paid Sony for the right to use, LG got mad and had some right to the bluray so they made a counter and sued Sony.Hardcore_gamer said:Uhm, what did Sony do to LG in the frist place.Bobbity said:You linked IGN?!

Sony have been screwing over their customers for years. The most memorable times being the rootkit they deliberately infected customer's PCs with, then lied about until they were presented with incontrovertible evidence, also removing OtherOS from the PS3 and telling their customers, basically, "Tough." Then of course getting all sue-happy over Geohot and stuff. I think Sony are scum, they're right up there with Microsoft. Apple and Ubisoft are also not far behind.Kadoodle said:How so, bro?lithium.jelly said:Hahaha, that's hilarious. Couldn't have happened to a more deserving company.
