PS3 is back!!!!

Yes I just found out that the PS3 is back up.I'm not entirely sure as to how much of it is back up but you can sign in to the PSN now.A system update is required first but after that is installed you can play games online again.Now go and enjoy yourselves.Note: It is up in australia so I don't really know about the rest of the world so be careful.

I am a tad sorry for the slight false hope.I did not know that sony were commencing a phased restoration of the system.They have restored the update but not the online but it WILL be up today because its the next thing on their restoration checklist.Finally some light in the end of this damn tunnel.

At the end, when he mentioned the "Welcome Back" plan, he doesn't confirm what will be a part of it. What's up with that? Didn't Sony already promise free content through PlayStation Plus?
