PS3 to get a popular Xbox 360 title.

It's Mass Effect. EA own the publishing rights, not M$. ME2 is supposedly coming to the PS3.
Would be unusual given that, to my knowledge none of Biowares other games ever made it to a Playstation.

...interesting... I doubt it will be either Gears or Halo, cause I'm pretty sure Microsoft wouldn't allow that. For some reason Battlestations comes to mind, I really don't know why though...

I would agree with you that mass effect is the most likly game for this. Bioware is owend by EA now so They're free to bevelop for any system, and I've heard that ME2 going to be released o PS3 (I could be wrong abou that).

I do hope is Mass Effect. Although the 1st one had some issues, it seems pretty good, also the 2nd one looks really interesting, and it wouldn't make sense to play it without experiencing the first one.

I don't own a 360, so I don't really know what's popular. However, this has the scent of EA (Mass Effect) all over it. EA goes multiplatform at the drop of a hat. When Mass Effect came out for the PC (shortly after being touted as a 360 exclusive, AND, just as I predicted because it is EA) I knew it was just a matter of time before the ps3 would see Mass Effect. I gave it a year or two, and while I don't know when exactly I made that prediction, I'd say we're coming up on the due date.

I'm surprised no one was a little peev'd about how little this artical actually said. About all they said was 360 to ps3 port, and let the guessing games begin.

If its Halo I could give a flip, MAYBE I would look at gears of war, but if I could only play one game on the 360 that the PS3 can't play it would be Dead Rising.

Probably Mass Effect 2 will be multiplatform and suck on PS3 because they were lazy at porting.

i hope its castle crashers and supports cross platform play so there can be better arena multiplayer but theres been nothing mentioned on thebehemoth dev blog so its doubtful it will be castle crashers.

it also cant be mass effect or GoW 1 since there on the pc so it might be an oldie like crackdown

I really, truly, couldn't care less. I've got a 360, and I hate exclusives. They do nothing except make it so less people can enjoy the game, and less people buy it. Does the bribe from Sony/Microsoft really make up for 75%-100% more sales?

Possibly with Epic already supporting the PS3 through Unreal Tournament 3 and with the Titan Pack only being released on PS3 and PC. So it's not that unlikely...problem is that I hate it with deep passion

It's so not HALO. M$ will protect that IP with the sacrifice of the office drones if need be.

I think I'd actually give up gaming forever if this happened. I'm not hating on people who enjoy PC gaming, but I can't stand using a keyboard to control movement and I'm not spending £600+ on a rig when I can get an entire games library as well as a brand new console for that much.

I play several games on the PC with a 360 controller (the most comfortable controller since the SNES).


It'd be better to spend £300+ (what it costs for a decent rig minus monitor) than spent several hundred more on several consoles just so you can play your fave games due to exclusivity.

Well from what Bioware have currently announced your wrong, but we don't know - I think it'll be L4D2 however...

For some reason, I really want it to be Lost Odyssey.

It couldn't be - Mistwalker had a contract with Microsoft for 2 exclusive RPG's. Great choice though =)

They recently changed their tune and said they were looking to get a "PS3 team together".
