Announcing that they will be allowing used games, and won't require online connection, it seems Sony went right for Microsoft's throat.

Does this move make them "win" the console generation? Your thoughts?

EDIT: AND it's a hundred dollars cheaper!

OT: I thought the PS4 E3 event was better then the XBone's, but I just did not fully enjoy it. The only thing I really liked was the announcement of Kingdom Hearts III (Kingdom Hearts and II, as well as Shadow of the Colossus, where the only reason I bought the PS2), but that for me is not enough to justify a PS4 purchase.

I like how Sony is basically winning now by coming out on stage and basically saying "Hey guys, we're not the Xbox One."

And y'know what? Good for them. That seems to be a smart move right now. I think NOT being the Xbox One is a very good business decision.

I admit it kinda sucks to hear people will now have to pay to play multi-player after we didn't for the PS3 (though admittedly this doesn't effect me as I never play multi-player games) so I imagine this will spark some anger from the fans, but from what I'm gathered it's still less than XBO, so I'm sure it won't be too bad. I'm not even a Plus member (I don't play enough games to make it worth it) but Plus has always been a great deal. I'm sure dedicated gamers will want Plus anyways.

We'll see, but yeah...they're winning right now.

I just hope they eventually announce some games I would be interested in playing.

Sony, you have my support. I will take up the sword on your behalf and make sure that anyone who has questions about either system learn about which system respects your consumer rights and which one tramples and then spits on them...(and for $100 less it seems!)

Personally, I don't mind paying a subscription fee online as long as you get more than just a connection (see 360's current model). The PS+ is a program that I will gladly shell out for.

Cloud service access to all the PS3 games I wanted and I never got because I bought a Xbox360? (As long as they remember Canada exists, anyways. Do they consider us US or Europe?)
