See, I can tell you're actually not a member the Glorious PC Gaming Master Race. Sony fucking brought it. Slow first half of their conference, but they made up for it in the second half. They've killed the Xbox One, undone all my worries about DRM and anti-consumer features, and they're launching this thing at one hell of a price.

I'll say it: Nintendo now need to step up. Sony is obviously squaring up for a fight. Iwata and co need to start getting down and dirty, because they're not going to sell the Wii U on smiles and cherry cake. Price cut, more games, and more games. If Xbone dies (which it will) Sony will have the vast majority of third-party publishers behind them. Nintendo need to start picking their fights, and bringing their own thunder. Sony is now charging for online multiplayer? Emphasise that Nintendo multiplayer is free. Sony is putting out great first-party games? Put out more of their own.

Looks like we're going back to the old-school, a no-holes barred beatdown between Sony and Nintendo.

Dunno about that. I could see a price drop from Nintendo, but I really need clarification on whether or not Sony will allows PUBLISHERS to block used games at their discretion. If that happen things could get complicated. Furthermore, we all know Nintendo can remedy the "no-games" whining in a split second. Tomorrow will be interesting

I'm pre-ordering both PS4 and Xbox One. I'll probably cancel one of them. I don't know which one yet. Both consoles have games I want to play (DriveClub, Ryse, AC Black Flag, Destiny, Titanfall.)

Big whoop. Xbox was doing that Ages ago. Playsation just seems to be charging a decent amount of money for it.

If I were to sum up Sony's Press Conference in a short but sweet fashion, I'd have to say that Sony absolutely mutilated Microsoft in every which way.

OT: I thought the PS4 E3 event was better then the XBone's, but I just did not fully enjoy it. The only thing I really liked was the announcement of Kingdom Hearts III (Kingdom Hearts and II, as well as Shadow of the Colossus, where the only reason I bought the PS2), but that for me is not enough to justify a PS4 purchase.

Man I actually can't wait to see Nintendo's stuff. The pokemon conference, the big direct announcement, it's gonna be pretty sweet. I'll be quite glad to see console gaming maybe shift back to more japanese stuff, since PC is infinitely better for western games but is lacking in JRPG's and certain kinds of adventure and dfefinately non-puzzle platformers...

Pokemon, Mario, Sonic: Lost World, Monster Hunter 4, this is gonna e an expensive year for me on top of the PS4.
