PS4 Rest Mode

So on my X1 going into lower power mode, rather than shutting down ,allows me to jump straight into where I was in the game when I power up.

Is there a way to have the same function with PS4 rest mode or is it solely designed for auto downloads etc?

It's solely for downloads as far as I'm aware. You can jump out of a running game back to the PS4 menu by pressing the PS button and then instantly jump back in but that sort of functionality only works while the system is on fully on.

I believe that was a feature "coming soon" so expect it never. Better to be Pleasantly surprised than disappointed if you know what I mean.
