Yeah, I knew Japanese sells would be fairly significant. According to VGChartz, PS4 and Wii U were both at 5.8 million units sold as of February 22. I'm guessing this information is a little more up to date than that.

Baffles my mind how people continue to buy consoles only to have them collect dust.

Infamous Second Son comes out in 17 days. PS+ has also given us plenty of great games for free including Resogun and Outlast. My PS4 was not collecting dust, nor will it be.

Will Titanfall bring the sale up for Xbox One? I don't think so, maybe.

Halo, yes because that already has a huge fan base. Reason why I said, "I don't think so" is because Titanfall is also on PC and a lot of people would rather get it on PC where it would run smoother and cheaper instead of buying a new gaming system for how ever plus $/£ it is. Whereas, Halo 5 will only be on Xbox One... unless they port it to PC also, one day, if ever.

Exactly. Also, Zampella has been adamant on Twitter that "ONLY" this Titanfall will be exclusive, which logic equates to Titanfall 2: Titan Harder hitting PlayStation platforms at some point.

From my understanding, he was completely out of the loop on the PS4 Exclusion deal (let's call it what it is) and learned about it when we did. It seems that he was not happy to learn about it. And frankly, I don't blame the man. This really could hurt his game's sales by quite a bit.

Yep, that's it. He was blindsided by the deal EA made since the original deal was a timed exclusivity with the Xbox One. We don't know how much MS paid for Titanfall, but can it cover the potential 6 mil PS4 + 20+ (or is it 30+?) mil the PS3 installed base has? Knowing EA, they won't let that big of a consumer base escape the Titanfall juggernaut.

Imagine if only a fourth of the PS3 and PS4 players bought Titanfall? That's still 3-5 million units easy.

As for the Xbox One, Titanfall will likely pull some slack (it will have a strong console following no matter how much the PC gamers would prefer otherwise). Halo 5 will be a system seller no doubt, though I doubt that it has the star power as it had until Halo Wars.

I didn't see that in your comment either, if anything this site has started to become Pro PC (obviously) and Pro PS4 (little of 3) and Anti Wii U, 360 and One, regardless of news it's mostly negative and negative topics surrounding the 3 consoles.

I'm expecting a few more articles or more topics of "Wii U is doomed", "Xbone is doomed", "PS4 has won console race forever ftw!", or just the plain old "Why buy a console?" threads.

I've been to other sites so far since this article came out and they've been more or less positive and hardly felt the ened to mention the Xbone and Titanfall let alone the Wii U. (Like Alex Co seems to do every time one console is mentioned he has to mention another to spark a pointless debate that really isn't needed at all)

I wasn't sure whether to take your comment as snarky (as it could imply the statistics are only that high due to accidental button presses) or honest curiosity. As Shadow-Phoenix mentioned, it seems there's a lot of negativity on the forums these days.

As Pink Apocalypse said though, there are a number of steps you need to do in order to actually share video or screenshots when you hit the Share button. So far, I've only saved one video, and I didn't even publish it online, it was just for my amusement. It is quick and easy, but no one is going to accidentally publish anything.

I don't know if Titanfall will move many X1 units. It's a new IP for one. Also it's too cannibalized of a release with it coming out on Xbox 360, X1, and PC. Not saying it won't move X1 Units, but after Titanfall what the hell else does the X1 have for interesting exclusives? Nothing with a release date yet. And nothing that will sell consoles.

And that's were Sony has an advantage, they have access to Japanese imports and there's still a big audience for those games. Along with the fact that the PS brand doesn't rely on 1st exclusives as much as Nintendo or MS do thanks to the usual bucket loads of sleeper hits from Sony's 2nd party Studios. Games like Shadow of the Colossus, Ico, Demon's Souls and others can just show up on Sony consoles with next to advertising and sell at least 1 or 2 million. And those titles drop often. Nintendo's got bad relationships with the 3rd party and MS just can not get love from Japan.

You're assuming the 'technical problems' were with the 360 and not the Xbone. The 360 version will have smaller textures and less particle effects to use less RAM, but it's not going to look that different upscaled from 720p than the Xbone version will upscaled from 792p. I bet the AI will be fine, Halo has had four players and dozens of AI running around since 2007, the Beta AI in Titanfall were dumb as rocks too, I find it hard to believe they're that taxing on hardware.

I would assume that the 360 version works fine and that Microsoft are delaying it to try and hide the problem(s) with the Xbone version, two weeks isn't long enough for worthwhile development time, if it was three months I'd believe that the 360 version didn't work. I'd like to be wrong, but Microsoft have form for arbitrarily delaying and/or damaging versions of their products on the 'undesirable' platform (Halo 2, Gears of War PC versions spring to mind).

Considering that the delay is happening for 360 and not for Xbone due to "technical difficulties" its fair to assume that the 360 is the one having problems. Well either that or the developers are lieing and delaying the one working version without a reason.
Smeller textures will help GPU load as well as particle effects. yes it may help it bear. Hopefully the 360 version will also move some processing to the CPU, since 360 CPU is faster than that of Xbone (seriuosly, Xbone has a mobile phone CPU, actually a mobile phone with it is coming out soon).
The proposition that it wont look different unscaled from 720p (hah, i seriously doubt Xbox version will run 720. knowing its previuos reasons, try 424p) is ridiculous at best. of course it will look different. far worse. but that wasnt the question to begin with as i pointed out already. this is to be expected when you are running a game on 9 year old hardware.
Now i havent been in the game and dont know how smart the AI was, if it was really the dumb horde AI that suicide rushes everything then yes the 360 may actually run it. 512 MB of ram is very limiting however. there is a reason developers were cutting corners on ram everywhere they could last generation.

They planned to release both versions on the same time, then suddenly technical difficulties made them push it back 2 weeks on 360. This means that its quite possible they actually failed to run the final build on 360 or it worked horribly (think fps drops) and wanted mroe time to fix it. But EA being EA they liek to push unfinished products out the door anyway (Simcity, battlefield, heck there is even a meme "its so unfinished, EA tried to publish it [http://memeorama.com/this-meal-is-so-unfinished-ea-tried-to-publish-it/this-meal-is-so-unfinished-ea-tried-to-publish-it/]").

Then again you coudl be right and it cam be Microsofts doing.

Also, Sony, please update your account system to let sub accounts ether turn into master accounts or allow them to get all restrictions removed. Because mine was made when I was 16. I'm now 22 with my own money and I'm sick and damn tired of having to go through my step-dad's account to add money so I can buy things with my money. And no, I will not just make a new account. That's seven years worth of friends and purchases. This should not be the only solution.

exclusives are holding games hostage. whether some people see it one way or another is irrelevant. if you pay the company to only sell your game on your console you are kidnapping the game.
