And I will play turn-based RPGs only if they are really, really good.
Man, over these past weeks, I've really been able to mention random crap about a 4 year old game.
So, Persona 3 Portable. Why?
ROBOT JESUS. That is all.
Anyways, asides what I've been raving about for 30 posts, you could also get Peace Walker and Lumines 2. Those are the only games I know of on the PSP, asides Crisis Core. But everyone else has already said that.
Isn't that M rated? My parental units won't let me play any M-rated games.
It is!?
Why? there's barley anything in it!
Well if it isn't get it if it is get it later seriously it's that good,
Other games I'd reccomend:
Dissidia: Final Fantasy
Final Fantasy: Crisis Core
Disgaia: Afternoon of Darkness TBS with a fair bit of comedy (don't know if it's m rated or not)
Patapon 1, 2 and 3 if it's out yet Pretty good and has really catchy music.
You could also try the PSP MGS games but they may be M rated.
Honestly the ERSB is ridiculasly strict.
I went on the official site to check what inappropriate about the game and lemme see... (I don't want to pose as a jerk here, first of all).
Blood
Language
Partial nudity
Sexual themes
Violence
Yea... And ppl shooting themselves, what's with that?
Argh I had typed a long involved post detailing why I thought that the M rating was unwarranted and Internet explorer decided to screw with me so I'll give you the bullet point version.
None of the elements that you mentioned are particularly extreme and would only warrant a BBFC 15 if this were a film or even a 12 barring the blood which looks like red paint anyway and almost never actually comes out of the characters or the shadows.
Them shooting themselves is largely symbolic,
again if this offends you, you may just be being too sensitive
The ERSB rates things M of which only about a third of which actually deserve,
Most get a lower rating over here a 15 or even a 12.
I've been told that the ERSB will rate a game T just for having a humanoid character weilding a sword, that is ridiculous.
Americans are far too uptight about sexuality, which is weired considering all the smut your coutry produces
I think people today are far too sensitive when it comes what kids might play or see violence/sexuality wise I was watching movies about as violent as Manhunt when I was still in single digits and it never bothered me,
though I'm willing to admit I may be the exepition to the rule.
Correct me if I'm wrong but a T rating is for 12/13+ right?
And I know that an M rating is for 17+
I think there should proboly be somthing in between.
also I didn't know a single person at age twelve that hadn't seen somthing far more graphic than the sex scene in mass effect,
Thyough that could just be the people I knew.
