..well - a ps1 emulator on a SE phone has been something people have pined for since the first smartphone with "Sony" on it.

That doesn't stop Sony HQ from intensely disliking the tendency to make even small parts of the IP into digital commodity. Which I know several people inside Sony sees as being the same as trivialising the platform, and basically losing control over it. So you shouldn't expect this to become a commercial product.
Umm... what? I was just making a joke about what that person comented. I never asked or said anything about what you're on about.

I was just pointing out that it's because of perceptions Sony has about piracy that we'll never see this kind of product take off. It will never have support, it will never have access to digital downloads on the psn. Neither Sony or SE are going to map out a strategy for this, because they dislike the entire idea.

I.e., it's not "take this, pirates". It's SE using "piracy" as a means of advertising the kit. You can imagine how much Sony's imps are going to take to that kind of thing.
