My reaction was: phew, I'm a normal functional female!

It was good to at least be reassured by nature itself, since pretty much everything else at that time was telling me I was a freak. (I was nerdy, geeky, asexual, pretty frumpy.. bowl haircut and braces. I'm still nerdy/geeky, but now I'm all womanly and hawt ;>)

I was a bit bummed out. My body matured very early so I had the problem of being much ahem, bigger than my peers. No to mention, it's in my genes to be curvy. So strutting around in 8th grade with D cups and being called a slut just for how big I was wasn't particularly fun. Luckily by the time I had reach my full figure people were used to developed bodies, so it wasn't much of an issue after then.

I also remember my first period, wasn't very exciting. I was mad because it ruined a pair of purple panties. I mean, c'mon purple.

I reacted by swallowing a tall can of "Notgivinaf**k" and looking forward to endless masturbation..

Pretty much this. The only annoying thing was having every person on earth remind me that my voice had dropped.

Christ, this itch won't go away.... oh, huh, how did I miss that?

That said, my brain practically fell out when I hit puberty, I used to have an incredibly good memory, now it's complete ass, and I'm still dealing with the consequences.

For me it was the hormones. I noticed that but I kept it under control. Then the voice went and to this day I miss being able to actually sing the melody of songs without taking it down an octave. Damn, I was good at that! >.<
Pretty much this.
I noticed hair and I thought. "Oh... there's hair there... hm" and went on.
Mostly it was welcome for me, as I was very small and skinny and (also because I began exercising around the same time) I was suddenly becoming much stronger.
I was much hungrier, and my voice dropped a lot.

The hormones were the worst part I guess (pimples sucked too, but I've seen many people who had worse); I am able to control myself well and so I did most of the time, but I got majorly depressed every so often for a year or two and I'm not the kind of person who lets that show, so it was rough.
Oh, and then the hornyness, that too... makes you do stupid shit.

To be completely honest, I barely noticed puberty. Some hair grew in new places (and even that wasn't that different) and I started thinking about naked girls. I'd always been ridiculously hairy as well as bigger and taller than everyone (I'm 6'8" and 300 lbs fully grown, btw) , so those changes didn't even warrant mention.

Hell, I don't even remember my voice ever cracking. I'm pretty sure it never actually did.

Edit: The only thing that I really noticed was the pimples. My case wasn't bad, as they were/are relatively rare, but the ones I do get tend to be rather large, painful and in uncomfortable locations.

Well from the point of view of someone who's currently going through it... It's ok, except for the hormones, and monthly gift, & did I mention the god-awful hormones. Seriously, I am having crazy mood swings. First I'm all nice and quiet, then I'm all- ***** IMMA KILL U!

I was mildly irritated, nothing more. My voice started squeaking and then I started having to shave. I was happy that I got taller and my voice got deeper..but also irked that I cou;dn't quite get a handle on how much my voice projected

I honestly don't remember any moment where I "hit" puberty.
I just got incredibly horny all the time and since I knew about it beforehand, I just kinda ignored it and acted on impulses a lot.
I didn't question nor did I think it was even a big deal. I noticed I got hair in places I didn't before and went about my day. That's about it :p

I was one of those really unfortunate souls who hit puberty very early. I felt really embarrassed and became uncomfortable in change rooms and such because I was having to wear a bra at the age of 7 or 8, while everyone else didn't even know what the hell breasts were -__-;;

It wasn't bad for me. I grew a lot in the course of one year though, probably around 7in. I never really had bad skin, I am a hairy beast though. My voice got pretty deep but the cracks were really annoying in English class when I had to read out loud. Overall not really bad.

I knew what was going on, and I was a year older than those around me, so I originally started hitting it in 5th grade.

I reacted how most guys that age do, with curiosity and experimentation with "down there".
