Edit: Afterthought, make it something with one syllable, that either ends in an 'y' sound, or can easily be made to, dogs respond much better to that.
If anyone wants to question how I know, My Mum started fostering dogs when I was 11 and had had dogs all my life up until that point fostering just meant I had much much more, even if most of them were only for 1-2 months.
