Fable 3.

Played for about 2 hours before I headed back to the store and traded it for Fallout: New Vegas.

My local movie store (since closed) used to have these "Buy 4 for $20 or $7.99 each" deals. Since I buy my movies in bulk I often had to throw in a crap movie or two to get the deal. So I wind up with movies like A Cinderella Story and Howling 3: The Marsupials that I regret buying, owning, and watching, in that order.
I read the first sentence and thought tell me you didn't buy three films. It turns out it was even worse!

Boring. Just so boring. Couldn't bring myself to play beyond the first level.

PowerDrome on the PS2. Not worth the $2 I paid.
Savage Moon on PSN. Decent, but I got a better tower defense game for free sooooo...
Spore. DRM messed up my PC. And it still won't run properly
Oddworld: Abe's Odysee on the PC. It wasn't the same as Munch's oddysee (screw you, I liked it. Having hamsters eat people was fun.) which I had played fist. It was fun, but just wasn't the same. But then I got if for free on PSplus, and it goes a bit smoother. I know what system Exodus is being downloaded to.
KOTOR2. It just wasn't the same!

Buying indigo prophecy on steam, knowing that I would probably never finish it, since I already knew the entire plot. I still can't explain why I bought it. Certainly not for the gameplay.

Sci-Fi just might not be your thing. It's alright not to like Mass Effect - personally I love the series to death, but it is heavily sci-fi and the first game takes a long time to get going - the first one or two hours of that game are pretty damn dull, even in my book.

Don't hide behind flameshields. It's cool not to like a series. Everyone's different, with different tastes.

C&C4 for starters i forced myself to play through the campaign just because of the price. Also the infamous Kotor 2 that game was just plain boring and awful.

No, I love sci fi, I just don't like games that take 3 hours to start rolling.
Anyways, it was my brothers', so I didn't lose any cash, luckily.
Now a purchase I DID regret was when I got the first 2 monkey islands on sale on steam, but I found AFTER I bought it that it only ran on XP. BS.

Mass Effect, Dragon Age: Origins, Diablo and Diablo II come to mind. Horribly boring games.

No, they were actually really boring. The gameplay itself. Mass effect and DA:O had wonderful storylines (from what I've heard), but the gameplay, although good, was just far too repetitive in DA:O's case, and just not satisfying in Mass Effect's. It seems like it should have been fun, and I can't figure out why I didn't find it so. This is my opinion, obviously :p

OT: No doubt there've been a myriad of snacks I've bought through the years that I clearly did not want in the least, but hell! If I have money!
As for games? Guitar hero 3 - I played the first many years ago with friends and LOVED it :D I figured I'd be able to relive the experience. The game itself wasn't all bad, but because of the expectations, it crushed my dreams and I was left distraught.

OT: Final Fantasy Chronicles for PSX.
Too late I realized that a better version of Chrono Trigger could be bought for the same price.

Don't get me wrong, I love sci-fi it's just Mass Effect doesn't do anything to grab my attention. They just talk and talk and talk about stuff that really ins't remotely interesting and the "action" that wasn't intense.

But there are people who love the Mass Effect games, thus why the flame shield. It's a game I want to like, since it has all the things that are on my awesome list but alas, brain don't like talky talky, me want boom boom!! xD
