I bought Supreme Commander 2 despite it being 50% more expensive then the previous titles because I thought it would be good. I mean, Supreme Commander was great, and Forged Alliance was even better, so how could it not be worth 60$?

Fuck Square Enix.

I love the fact I impulse bought all of Babylon 5 when I found it on DVD at my video store.

Whats wrong with SupCom2?

Maybe Im biased because I got it on sale for like $5, but I was left pretty satisfied.

They took one of the greatest RTS games of all time and turned it into a subpar Starcraft knockoff. I have literally never seen someone who liked the original hold a positive opinion of the second.

Coming from TA, I consider them both to be lesser. That doesnt prevent me from enjoying them though. Try buying things on sale.

If it was any good I wouldn't have to!

Plus, I don't think it was even on steam when it initially came out.

I have only had it for a few days but my new (used) Cintiq 27QHD was a really good buy! Drawing and Painting on the computer has never felt this good before and that is to say nothing about the colours or resolution which offer so much more when 3D modeling, texting, rendering, and compositing.

A purchase I lament is the Arnold Rendering Engine. I should have just gone with Redshift from the start and save myself 500 bucks.

I will forever regret buying Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor for the PS3. To date it remains the single most broken, worst possible port of a game I've ever played through. Thanks for nothing Behavior Interactive.
I was going to say the same thing, Shadow of Mordor being the only game I've ever gone to get a refund for the port being so atrociously shit.
For my best purchase, I'd probably have to go with (maybe cheating a little) my transition to pc gaming a number of years back.

I never really had any problems with it on 360, except being really bored and the Nemisis system was stupid easy to break. The PC version was at least harder, so more interesting, but it was an absolute joke to kill orcs in that game

Bad - I got a good deal on a Marhsall jcm 900 (guitar amp) that doesn't really suit my uses at all, on top of being heavy as fuck and so difficult to travel with. Too loud to use around the house too.

Good - Finally buying good underwear and some light linen trousers. I was seriously not understanding how much more comfortable I could be.
