Good point. But I think there is a difference since Bart and Ash are both cartoon characters and children. Whereas the pyro is a grown up video game character.

Umm... gender of voice actor doesn't always mean the same gender as character, even in adult characters.

there is even a hint in the Meet The Spy trailer at the beginning the Alarm-A-Tron 5000
it says: RED PYRO, IS A MAN, IS A WOMAN.

You know the suit is extremely baggy, right? That's part of the reason people are so confused on the gender- it could be skin tight, but general consensus is it's very loose. Ergo, very easy to hide the gender in.
