This is my first post ever, so please be gentle.

Anyway, I've been recently re-watching Jim Sterling's videos on Valve's poor quality control for games on Steam - Day One: Garry's Incident and Air Control come to mind - and I realized that I've heard plenty from Jim and TotalBiscuit and from the developers themselves, but I haven't heard anything from Valve on the issue.

I guess that's the question I'm asking here: has Gabe Newell, or a representative of Valve, said anything concerning quality assurance in response to these veritable shit-storms and what Jim (and whoever else) has been practically screaming?
Like usual valve is silent , seriously valve is setting them upself for lawsuits for allowing games with stolen copyrighted material to be sold(air control)

To my knowledge valve has made no comment on quality control for Steam games.
IMO they should really set a baseline standard and do something about it. Like, why can't we start with "the game can boot"?
That would be awesome actaully.
My Prince of Persian Forgotten Sands won't work because it always says Ubisoft Server can't connect. I had to get a "copy" if you know what I mean, just to play the game for gods sake.

Over half of the Jedi Knight series and one other Star Wars game, that I can't remember off the top of my head, won't boot.
Dreamfall won't boot. I think I have like 10 or so games right now that just won't boot.

I have literally stopped buying games on Steam because I can't guarantee they'll ever work. Its honestly ridiculous.
Funny how I play games older than those available on Steam through GOG and I've yet to have a game just not work from them.
