Quantum Theory: Did ANYONE buy this game?

This game was kind of high-profile for a while, but not only has it flopped with reviewers, it seems to have been quietly swept under the gaming industry's rug. Did ANYONE buy this game?

I am only aware that it seems an exceedingly generic TPS, and that it has quite possibly the worst ad tag line ever.

"Gotta Kill It", really?

The apparent consensus of people who have played it is that it is rated at Mid-Low average.

That, and the fact that it was ignored so much, really doesn't sell it well.

It was high profile? I just thought that it was a Gears of War clone and it honestly looked a lot like it.

I don't think it's out in Australia yet, but I played the demo and it felt like a Gears of War clone (I love Gears) so I will definitely give it at least an EB rental.

I played the demo a few times to see if I could convince myself to get it, but it's just really really bad. It doesn't help that I hated Gears of War. And as this is a total clone of Gears, there's no reason to get it.

I am sure some people dud buy this game and I am sure some of them do like it while others who bought it dislike it.

I played the Demo and I was not impressed by it. When I first heard about it I thought it sounded interesting but now I realize it is a generic Third Person Shooter that is basically a Gears of War clone.

it was... interesting. (needed more bullettime.)

my mate got Quantum Theory (against my advice) he then gave it back the next day. that should tell you everything you need to know.

A grim TPS produced by Square Enix- surely it's the worst of both worlds.

I was never looking forward to it, even if I already had a High-Definition console.

Singularity was great. I got it for $20 ($40 sale price + $20 off coupon at K-Mart), and I would have gladly paid full price.
