Quantum Theory: Did ANYONE buy this game?

I never knew it got released. I've known about the game for a while, but it's release fell right under the radar.

I was actually kinda interested in this game. Some kind of automatic living tower, and you invade it and it sends its white blood cells soldiers after you. Also its fighting an infection of a darker version of it self. Either your sidekick is some kind of robot clockwork lady, or just badly animated, lol.

So its bad, then? As the original poster asked, has anyone actually played it?

Read the bad previews and directed my cashflow to other things. I mean look at that sexy Fallout and Medal of Honour. And is that World of Warcraft over there in the distance? Wait... World of Warcraft exapnsion? Oh shit... My HABIT!

Never got to be released on PC so i was safe from it. Upon checking some gameplay/trailer vids im happy there never was PC version. Not only it was a shooter, third person one to the boot, but also it was Japanese production with all that dreadful art style...can't imagine worse game, sorry.

I plan on requesting it for Christmas next year when it costs like five bucks. It seems like it will fit pretty well into my Medicore/Guilty Pleasure Christmas lists*. Something about these kind of games just draws me in.

*Starting two years ago, my Christmas wish lists have consisted of generaly medicore and cheap games (i.e Conflict: Denied Ops, Damnation, Stormrise, Soldier of Fortune: Payback)

Wow, first Singularity and now this. They should really stop using words from theoretical physics as names for mediocre videogames!

Singularity was not a mediocre game it was a slightly above average game.

I enjoyed singularity, not enough to buy it but it was a fun rental. Quantum Theory on the other hand is a joke, I didnt buy it but the demo was worse than bad. I downloaded it and it just sat on my PS3 for probably a month before I got around to playing it.

It reminds me of Starship Troopers in a sense with comparison to Gears of War. Gears is like the original Starships Troopers and it was awesome. Quantum Theory is more like one of the Starship Troopers sequels that were made by a completely different director/producer/etc. One of the biggest pieces of trash ever created.

Well this post isn't active for a while but to respond I have the game! and I don't regret wating money on it, yes is a GOW version for ps3 but the game it's actually good! I liked the history, and I don't think it's much inferior to GOW, and yes I have GOW and I love it, but the critics about this game like it has repetetive levels and all that can be aplied to GOW... well if you see gears 1 and 2 ( I don't know about 3 yet) start at the surface then you go underground with a plan, the plan fails, so you come back up and got another plan and end... at least in quantum you go always up... and yes it doesn't have co-op but for it to have the interaction between Syd and Filena co-op it's not possible! Well my rating of the game is 8 fot history (its simple but good and interesting), 10 for gameplay(it's the same as gears, only one thing or two different...) 9 for the art (I actually prefer this game art to the art of gears...) and so on with a total of 9... it's actually a very good game if you play it insted of comparing it to others! Thats all I have to say thanks! and I apologise for my english I'm portuguese so...

I played the demo, seemed like a poor version of Gears of War, the only thing I enjoyed was running forward shooting with the pistol, the animation and they you held it mad you fee like a complete bad ass.

Shittiest TPS game since Dark Void, which is about as bad being the nukiest world war since the second one.

The demo almost convinced me to become a Nihilist, because no good or moral world could produce such a horrible game.
