Question about The Dark Knight

When Batman is "interrogating" the Joker and the he tells Batman where Rachael and Harvey are how does Batman end up at Harvey's location? Did the Joker purposely give Batman bad information or was there another reason.

The joker knew he would choose Rachel, so switched the locations. who ever died, someone would lose, and the joker would win.

He purposely switched the locations because he knew Batman would choose Rachael.

Or he forgot and just mixed them up.

Or he knew the cops would go for Harvey.

He knew Batman would go to and save Rachelle. And that the cops would (as a result) go to Harvey and probably fail. But he needed Harvey to live and Rachelle to die. So i lied to Batman and made him save Harvey

I'm not sure. I thought Batman saved Harvey because the world needed him and he didn't let his emotions get in the way.
