Question about the PS3

I wasn't sure about where to post this... It's based around a gaming console though so...

I recently got a new album Carcass Necroticism - Discanting the Insalbrious which is an album and a dvd on a double sided disk, which is also double the thickness of a regular CD.

I want to watch the dvd on my large television, which my PS3 is hooked up to but I am unsure whether the disk would fit in/work in a PS3 (Which is designed for normal disks presumably)

Anyone know anything about the PS3's capabilities involving disks that are extra thick?

Pretty sure it should work, but don't quote me on that. I vaguely recall a friend doing it and it working fine, so I say go for it.

I'm pretty sure it'd work. I don't see why it wouldn't. I got a PS3 myself and have never had problems with discs fitting.
