Question: Buy now or wait for the GOTY?

As I'm a huge Elder Scrolls fanboy, I've been drooling over Skyrim since the first trailer. But should I go ahead and get it now, while there are still so many bugs to deal with (and exploit), or should I wait for the GOTY when numerous patches have come out and DLC will come with the game? All opinions appreciated, thx.

Well I can't tell you what to do, but I can tell you what I've chosen to do.

I bought the Xbox 360 version to play now. In 18 months when the innevitable "Skyrim GotY Edition with all DLC included" version gets released, I'll pick up that one on the PC.

If you've been drooling over it, go get it now. If not wait until they release the patch that'll fix most bugs, which is soon(?) I think, then get it.

Yep, that's all the convincing I'll need . But I'll have to start apologizing to my gf now, between this and Shooter Season 2011 I don't think I'll have time for human interaction...

It's actually not really buggy. I've only had one bug (Meridian's beacon failed to show up on my map, so I'll just have to happen upon it). I was expecting far far worse.

I was gonna wait for New Vegas ultimate edition but I'm still glad to of basically paid for 6 characters all maxed (without DLC) and incredible amounts of money weapons and armour with which to tackle the DLC's once I get them.
