This is the opposite of the proper progression of technology: you're supposed to build a misfit, generalized tech demo first and then a specific, sleek application of said tech.

Uh...we're having the April 7th question before the April 6th question?

I really couldn't care less about it.
Touch controls annoy the Hell outta me, espescially since they don't work half the time (in my experience)

Sorry Steve i like you and i support your company but this is a few steps back for you in my opinion. You already have two touch-screen devices in the Iphone an ipod touch you don't need this.

tomorrows question toady? But OK whatever.

No, not in the slightest. I have no desire to get one at all.

Why the hell would anyone want a giant I-phone that doesn't make phone calls?

That's the real question of the day.

The iPad definitely has a place (it would replace paper books that we use today for leisure reading if nothing else), but not being able to support Flash comes at a detriment too great to recover from. The internet uses Flash for the majority of my relevant use, thus the iPad, not being able to support it, is useless.

When the version of the iPad that supports Flash is released, I'll seriously consider purchasing one. Until then, I couldn't care less.

A piece of tech doesn't support something web browsers have been supporting for over ten years?!? What a worthless piece of trash. If it were to replace reading, it's a bit behind with the Kindle and that other electronic book on the market already. Nice try though Apple. What monstrosity will you unleash upon us next year?

Not really--it looks like little more than an oversized iPod touch (which I already have). Besides which, I am a through-and-through PC gamer.

I wonder who the one guy who voted "yes" is. Come forward. You won't be made fun of...too much.
Shit, it was me. It's like an iPhone and an iMac mated on top of awesome. What is there not to like?

After having my iPod break just after the warranty ended, and arguing with the local Humac store here, I can honestly say I'm not even considering buying another Apple product. I don't even have the immidiate need for an iPad or the likes, though I could consider buying a similar product from another manufacturer that allowed third-party programs. I suspect it'd be a lot easier to use for taking lecture notes than my clunky laptop.

So, the answer is no. Do not want.

Edit: my friends with iPods also had various faults with theirs just after the warranty expired. Just saying.

I love the fact there are currently 101 votes, and technically less than 1% of the voters crave one.

Fantastic :)

For me? The whole thing about it being a Mac product. And I can't take it seriously because of the feminine products joke.
