Shut it down now. As entertaining as it is to watch this disaster unfold it really is only a matter of time before they manage to kill somebody. On the plus side the people stupid enough to ever think this was a good idea are now out of pocket to the tune of 65 million dollars, and it will probably dissuade Bono from attempting to extend his massive ego over Broadway ever again... so that's good.

Anything that shows how stupid, smug and deluded a prick Bono is should continue until even the die-hard fuck wit U2 fans have to face it.

God, I hate bono.

It sounds bad in general, is bleeding money and people (sometimes literally) and would probably be the worst musical adaptation since my friend wrote a show about the Penguin from Batman.
Please, I'm begging you broadway, just let this thing die already!

I really really really want to see it. It sounds awful, and it sounds completely dangerous, and that is exactly why I NEED to see it.

so in times of crisis superheroes have to start singing now? :)
hahahahahahahahahaha

Well times are hard, but I'd rather would like to have "Batman and Robin" the musical, just because I'd love to hear them sing a romantic duet.

Part of me wants to see it, the part that enjoys watching Saw movies and other catastrophes even though I know I shouldn't. Besides, if it opens I want to see the report on how glaringly over the top it is because I enjoy over the top things.

Well I really don't care that much about Spider Man, but maybe one day there will be a Deadpool musical and god help them if it's not the most glorious thing in existence.

The thing sounds cursed. I say hang it before somebody gets fatally injured or loses a limb.

It's not my job to say that the musical is bad. If the artists feel like they have a show worth putting on, good for them. The only thing I can be worried about is the safety of the actors. But, considering that I'm not the actors' parents, if they feel like they can still make this work, then they should feel free to do so.

Why are people voting to keep it going, good god!? This thing has cost more than any other Broadway production in history, and all it has to show for it is a growing list of hospital bills. The writers and directors didn't even have the decency to have a finished product ready by the time it went live, and they're putting everyone else's lives and livelihoods at risk for an ultimately piece of shit concept, "just because they can"? What else has to get broken before people realize that this is dead?
