I'm interested in it for the sex, the art style and the fact that I still don't really know what it's about. Sex isn't dealt with nearly well enough in games.

Bioware actually tackles mature themes rather well, but they've got nothing on Atlus.

It's the Persona team, it's impossible for me not to be excited. They handle mature topics with a grace and ease that Bioware would kill for. And Bioware is already pretty good at it.

And even that is only half the reason to anticipate it. Persona 3/4's gameplay was filled with brilliant design choices as well, like high stakes battles, useful skills, etc.

I haven't read much about it. All I know is that it's a horror game and it's "all about sex".

Well, it's by Atlas, so it going to be good, but it's also a slightly erotic game by Atlas, so it is going to be very, very weird. In the end, however, I don't really care about it. Just doesn't look like my kind of game.

edit: watched the trailer. It looks like your standard anime flick. Skinny hyper sexualized chicks with huge boobs & a doofy looking protagonist tossed in to a plot about some other weird shit. Maybe if I understood Japanese I'd get more out of it, but that trailer does absolutely nothing for me. Doesn't even look like a game.

Hell, the fact that it's made by the Persona team is enough for me to pre-order it, buy extra copies as gifts, and inflict corporal punishment on any of my friends that don't buy it.

Now that it's pretty obvious that we won't be seeing Tales Of Vesperia (PS3) or Tales Of Graces, Catherine is my most anticipated game hands down.

Yes. It's been on my watch list since I saw the first trailer. After playing Persona 3/4 I know how well Atlus makes games, so I'm definately getting it when/if it comes to Europe.

This game could be a 3 hour anime for all I know by looking at its trailers.

I couldn't be less interested in it if I tried. I hope though that those interested in it enjoy it as much as they hope to. Me, I'll definatly be forgetting about the game once it's out of the headlines.

Hell yes I'm interested. In fact, it's the only upcomming game that has me excited, the only game that looks to be GREAT instead of just "good" or "ok".

Looks a bit too surreal for my taste. If it see an English release and some stellar reviews I might have to check it out though.

It's not like depictions and themes of sexuality and eroticism is in short supply, so that's not really much of a selling point for it in itself.
