I think this will be the only thing(actually one of the very few things) in history, that matches up to its hype.

I'm still waiting to see it in person, but I'm pretty sure seeing a 3D display without using glasses is going to make me wet myself with glee - so I voted yes.

Probably not but it will still be a good thing. I'm gonna buy it just for the 3D without glasses thing, because if you want it to work, THATS HOW YOU DO IT. otherwise it's a gimmick. Same for motion controllers, the Wii got it right, you dont charge them for something completely different for them to do it. It should come WITH the console as part of it for not much more, if any. Not $150 or whatever larger price Sony is gonna start at, then complain that nobody is buying.

These question of the day polls are a really sweet addition to the site, but there needs to be more options than just yes/no.

I'm not gong to be impressed until I see some more footage, but that is not stopping me from attempting to sell my first born son to get my hands on one of them.

It will be pretty sweet but it isn't the Holy Grail. It's just a cool piece of tech. It could end up being the iPhone of portable gaming but then, so was the DSi, the DS, the GB-Advanced...

It's probably going to be good, but I don't see any reasons to upgrade to from a DSi (same with DS -> DSi), other than the 3D, which I can't really say will be worth it or not until I see it with my own eyes (my expectations are low, but it might be worth it).
I mean, I'm still excited for it, as I am for every new piece of mainstream technology, but I don't see it being 'the best thing since sliced bread' :)
I just hope you realize it's next gen hardware rather than a hardware revision.

Will it be everything they've said? Yes, I'm sure it will.

Will it take off? That's a different matter all together! I, personally, think it'll do well at first but is likely going to slope off very quickly. I just can't see it being too big a success, especially with the relatively recent DSi and DSi XL.

No middle ground? D:

I think it sounds awesome but I'm not jumping the gun to get it. I'm waiting to see if it's all it's hyped up to be.

I've never felt graphics made the game in the first place,so moving into 3D really doens't impress me. Granted Nintendo's been on it's game recently, but for anyone thinking they're infalible, two words: Virtual Boy.

The graphics alone have got me impressed. I've been waiting for a handheld that is that powerful.

It needs a middle of the road option. At this point, I'm more interested in the games being developed for it than the thing itself. 3D is cool, but it's not going to be why I buy it.

I think it looks absolutely amazing so far. I think it'll live up to and exceed the hype.
