I'd go with Left 4 Dead 2, but only because there wasn't a "multiple titles" option.

Seriously, Left 4 Deads 1 and 2 and TF2 deserve saving.

Bit vague, but does this mean that it's destroyed from now to eternity?

If so, then Team Fortress 2. That way I can still consistently play it with other folks.
[sub]Screw it, TF2 regardless. That game is a masterpiece.[/sub]

Considering that I consider Portal to be one of my top-3 games of All Time?, it's gotta be that.

If there is no Half-Life 2, then there is no HL2:Ep3...
I will not have Gordon Freeman become just another Duke Nukem. Never.

Plus, Half-life 2 felt like the most diverse handcrafted experience, whereas portal is one mechanic all the way through, l4d and l4d2 are the same zombie shooting runs, HL1 is Black Mesa and more Black Mesa, and CS and TF2 are just noob-killing runs over and over again.

I can't believe Portal is winning. Yeah, it was good, but it doesn't really have a lot of replay value...there aren't that many ways to do the different puzzles, so once you have done it, you've done it.

I went with L4D2, because despite nearly 200 hours of game time logged, I still love it, and I can foresee myself playing it for many more hours to come.

Don't care about any of their games, but I would love to keep playing L4D so I chose that.

Imma go with Team Fortress, I liked Portal a lot but TF2 has given me much more enjoyment over time.

Dayum that's a hard one. Each one of them has it's own merits. I'll pick TF2.

I feel kinda sad that so few voted the original Half Life. Overshadowed by it's successors it feels almost like it's...forgotten. I also find it damn silly that again barely anyone votes Counter Strike, a mod that's more popular than most of Valve's games.

Portal is the only one that actually manages to rise above average. The rest are sort of OK and therefore not worth even caring aboot saving.
I have this theory that the collective gaming community is planning on dumping pig's blood on Gabe Newell when Half Life 2 episode 3 comes out.
If the genie were to go after Nintendo or Capcom I would have a hard decision ahead of me.

Portal was very, very good, don't get me wrong

But when it's over, it's over. You can replay and do all the challanges and refine your skills until you can better the insane Portal speedruns on youtube (ridiculous speed, not healthy at all)

TF2, however, keeps going, and every day is a new session with new people using the maps (which might be new depending on custom maps) in new ways, with new outcomes, new tactics, new teammates and...new friends

The only thing stopping me from voting for Portal was the fact that I haven't played any of the Half-Life games yet. Besides that, I've already finished Portal a couple times and you can only squeeze so much fun out of a few hours of single-player gameplay.

Damn, what a mean genie. It is too close for me to call one of those games. HL2, TF2 or Portal.

I never player HL, CS, or L4D so they are out.

L4D2 is good but zombies are not my thing.
TF2 is great fun, good comunity and pleanty of updates keep me from coming back. However with online games comes annoyance of other people and losing.
HL2 has a great story and is one of my first games that really got me into gaming. It's is also very long including the episodes, but the gameplay itself isn't the best.
Portal, very fun, very original but very short, even with the chalenging maps.

I would have to save HL2. If I could I would save TF2 and Portal as well but I don't have that choice here.

L4D2. I don't like HL2 and Portal that much, haven't played CS or HL1, and L4D2 is an obvious improvement on L4D1.

Process of elimination.

I went for L4D 2. It's the only game I can actually stand to play online. Being able to play as a zombie and hunting down humans makes dealing with online gamers actually bareable
