Does Spider Mostel count as a hero?

Probably not.

Then I'd go with Wolverine.

"We have come this far. We must go farther. We must learn the answer."

"None that live can know the answer"

"Not even you?"

"I am Galactus. I am more than man. Still am I less than God."

"And I am but your herald...less than a fleeting flyspeck on the endless tapestry of Space. But even a flyspeck can yearn to know...to discover...the learn the answer."

"There is no answer."

All quotes aside: Silver Surfer is my favorite.

I like Batman and the Punisher. Mostly because they are not superpowered. They can't fly, run fast, nothing. Yet, they still go into battle against foes who may be equally equipped or better equipped than they are.

I've gotta go with Iron Man. Mind, i don't like his real name. My real name is Tony and i had been thinking about changing my name to Anthony Stark for quite some time now and then i watch the movie, only to find out it's the name of a comic book hero... If i change it now i'll only seem like a comic-nerd... (Yes, i didn't know Iron Man`s real name before the movie. Norway was sheltered from outer influence when it came to reading until 2005, i think)

For the last few years my answer has solidly been Deadpool and that is still my choice. His adventures, while not always perfectly successful, are frequently very fun to read.

Invisible Man from League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.

He's invisible, based in kick-ass setting, based on an early science fiction story that I've read and loved as a child, and he cares for himself without any petty morals mixed in. He's the perfect sociopath, doing it for the lulz.

And yes, I'm aware that he
gets violently raped to death pretty early on in the series by that other early science-fiction inspired character, Dr. Jekyll/Mr.Hide

Still, he's pretty cool.

Iron Man definitely.
Probably because he doesn't hide his identity, and of course he just looks the coolest.

Eventhough I didn't know about Iron man untill the movies I regard him as the best of the lot. I've also begun to read the comics from 60s.
