Question of the Day, October 19, 2010

The Fallout: New Vegas midnight launch happened yesterday - were you one of those waiting in line? Or, if it hasn't happened in your part of town yet - will you be in line for its launch?

Well, it looks like all the answers so far are variants of "No".

Oh my God, the hype! It hurts! :)

Doesn't come out for 2 more days in Australia. :(
This. I'll be getting it, against my will, on the 21st. I'll probably get around to looking at it in a year or so...

So very, very behind on games...

No, I don't care about Fallout: New Vegas.

However, if I did care about it then I would have preordered it online and had it delivered to my house a day before the release date.

Early morning day before launches are so much better than midnight ones.

No, as it's not out until Friday in the UK. I have however, just received an email telling me it's shipped and so with any luck I shall get it a day or two early anyway.

I am surprised about how many (percentage) have said they don't care about it, as there are a lot of Fallout fans on this site.

Nope, but I've ordered it on Steam. For a midnight launch, I'd have to go out! Don't be silly!

Gamefly. I'm not really excited for it either, but it was the only thing interesting that was available to rent. I'll prob just start a bunch of new characters then return it in a few day. Fallout 3 was mostly just a dumbed down Oblivion with guns to me and I'm not really expecting much more from this one. I have a feeling this game wont be better then Borderlands.

New Vegas wasn't something I was so anxious to get that I'd go to a midnight launch, though very few games are these days. I'll either rent it for the 360 or grab a copy for the PC once it's dropped a bit in price, unless after renting it I've just got to have it.

I long for the days of the old Fallout games, especially Fallout Tactics, and would love to see something new along those lines.

Nope. That is what Steam is for. =) My only gripe is I had to wait 3 hours longer then people buying the box (I'm .est), but I think 3 hours is worth the gas money alone. =)

Even if I was going to get it I'm in the wrong country and it's not out yet.
