I'm a huge Captain America fan (Which is odd since I'm Canadian.) so I'll definitely check this game out. However, bearing in mind Sega's track record with superhero games I'm going to wait until I see some positive reviews and word of mouth, plus I'll probably download the demo if and when it's put online.

But you can bet I'll see the movie as soon as it comes out.

NOBODY* cares about 'Capitan United Estates',IT doesn't deserve to be called 'american', nor to have a game, especially when it's in WWII. The trailer is sucks and just make me sure, i not goin to buy it.

*NOBORY = The rest of the America and world, it isn't nice to have someone running around wrapped in a country flag, beating up gearman guys, while saying patriotic things.... doesn't matter what you say...

It looks like a pretty generic action game. They should have put more work into it. I think Captain America is the shit but this game certainly doesn't make him seem too interesting.
Couldn't have said it better.
Plus, during the entire trailer I had these words in mind:"This is sparta!"

Captain America is not really interesting until he is thawed out and is coming to grips with a world that passed him by.. The game just doesn't thrill me, and although the trailer looks decent enough, so did the one for the Iron Man game.

Well that bodes well for a game. 70% of this poll doesn't care about the game and 7% that does actually care thinks the trailer sucked.

America-land is cool and all but I feel I am under no obligation to like heroes named after it. I have no issue with clearly patriotic heroes per say, I just feel like the name and the outfit do a lot to prohibit outside interest.

As a far as epic patriotic heroes go I'm waiting for a CanadaMan [http://loadingreadyrun.com/videos/view/3/Canadaman] game.

Eloquently put sir.

Serious note: I hope for the sake of humanity that wasn't a real post and that you're just trolling, because if it is, here's five dollars, buy a bullet and rent a gun.

**OT: on the upside, I never liked Captain America until the whole Civil War series, at which he seemed to grow as a character from an overblown non-alien, non-flying/heat vision Superman-esque boy scout... (then Marvel promptly killed him off then retconned the whole thing.) So in the long run I don't know how to feel about this game even though I do love comics. I take the buddhist monk stand: "We'll see"

See, it seems like Captain America stopped being relevant/interesting somewhere around the fall of the Berlin Wall... I mean, we all know why he was created, after all.

I didn't know about it before the trailer, so it definitely made me excited. However, Sega's track record with the Iron Man games leaves me dubious - and the trailer itself is cool, but doesn't look like it has any actual exciting gameplay in it yet. I could do everything shown in Marvel Ultimate Alliance only from a camera pulled back a little more years ago.

So: interesting, but not enough. I'm more interested in the X-Men Destiny teaser just shown.

Yeah. I mean, it's hard to judge since it's a film-to-game production, by Sega. But the trailer was cool, and it seems like there'll be some platforming and stuff, instead of just beating people up. And hey, something about beating up nazis with a shield, as a guy called "Captain America" just appeals to me.

I get the feeling that the people who are put off by the flag-draped, patriotic, jingoistic, "America, Fuck Yeah" thing have never really given Cap a chance. Because that is not Steve Rogers. At all.
Cap doesn't fight for the government. Hell, he's probably fought against it more than he's fought on its behalf. He doesn't represent America the nation. He represents America the dream, the ideal. What America was supposed to be, rather than what it is.
Admittedly, that doesn't mean as much to non-Americans, but what it means above all is that Cap (when in the hands of a competent writer) is just a swell guy. He's like America's Dad, trying to lead by example. And punching natzees.

Haven't played a good Marvel comic book-based game since... Spiderman 2?

Trailer looks nice, but don't care about the game. Captain America is probably one of the least interesting heroes, right next to Wolverine and Superman.
