Is there a question you're frequently asked that you just hate? Me, I don't like being asked what kind of music I listen to, because I never know how to answer. My taste in music is pretty scatter-shot, you see. I'll be listening to Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vIbcqgXh5-4] one minute and Miss Moody [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ua8I-PfKhMU] the next, and enjoy them both just as much.

[sub]PS: Either way, Baker Street [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lSIw09oqsYo] is still the best song ever. If you disagree then you are WRONG![/sub]

I've always disliked being asked what my favorite anything is. Sometimes because it seems too trivial to bother with (why should I have a favorite number?), and other times because there's just not any one choice that I like better than all the others (out of every single book I've ever read, from classic literature to horror to high fantasy, you want me to pick one as a favorite? Are you daft?).

it used to be

so what are doing/going to do..I hated it, the most stress inducing horible question ever and the most common one to be asked

its ok now...now I just say "this is my job, its an interesting as it sounds" (ie: not very)

I guess now its

what hobbies do you have/what do you like to do...

"ummmm..I errrr " [small/] Im also an A-social person who really has absolutly nothing to say about what she does because from your perspective I do ABOLUTLY NOTHING in my spare time...because Im pretty sure action figures and comics doesnt count for much in your eyes...which is fine I just dont want to bore you wit the detials, I know you wont understand or be interested .....I supose and I should try and fix that but whenever I get out an offer to go/do somthing I know I wont enjoy it and Im sick of having to do things I dont want to do all my life..so now I dont, and the freinds I used to have I think "what do I have in common with thease people?" not much..not much at all...but thats no excuse because I still might enjoy their company if only I could re-connect but HOW do you do that?? do I really want to? have they forget I exist? so instead I say[/I] [/small]

"I like movies...shopping, reading that kind of thing"

I hate getting asked "What are you making for dinner?" Usually after that is asked I have to stop whatever i am playing and go search for something quick so I can get back to what I was doing.

I also have a cousin-in-law that calls all the time to ask: "Well I saw blah blah blah. Does that sound like I have cancer or some other crap that I could panic about?" I hate those questions.

Welp, only been asked once, but I absolutely hate it when X women asks me if I'll escort her to X event at the last minute. I know you're using me as a last resort, and I really don't appreciate it. (happened last year for prom, I almost might have said yes if she looked good and did me a favor. She wasn't and I really do hate when people think that just cause I'm not likely to get a girlfriend, that I'll hop on the first one to ask for anything like that)

"Ooo, you speak x language!? Say something in x language!" Does anyone know what to say in any language when asked that?

Also, "Do you like football?" Being English, everyone in this country (China) seems to think we like football. I've nothing against it but I won't watch i if I have a choice.

There are things I hate being asked. I can't seem to nail any of the good ones down. But I can remember that I don't like explaining obvious things, so the question of "Why?" at an inopportune time can be irritating.

For me I have two:
1)"Are you American/Irish" I don't know where people get this from, I was born in Australia, raised in Australia and been here for my entire life besides four weeks when I went to America two years ago, so no I am not.
2) Okay this one needs a bit of explaining I have type 1 diabetes and have to do my blood and insulin at my school locker and seeing as it's a pretty open place lots of people will come up to me with the same question whether I'm getting testing my blood sugar levels or doing my insulin, they always ask "Doesn't that hurt?" Seriously I've had roughly twenty people come up to me and ask that question, one guy even asked it twice and my answer is always the same "Only if you're an idiot and do it horribly wrong"
So yeah those are my two questions that irk me to no extent.

Hmm... I hate being asked "Are you on drugs?" because I'm not and just have an eccentric personality...

"Why did you do that?" Because why the hell not?

"What's your favourite X?" I can never answer since my favourite things change so often depending on what mood I'm in.

"Say something in X language!" No because I cannot speak that language, I can only curse and occasionally say a word during a sentence by accident...

"How do you say X in Y language?" I'm Korean, so some of my peers always ask me for new and interesting words. Why the hell do you even want to know how to say 'hippo porn?'

I'm thankful people stopped using it on me after Primary school, roughly Elementary. If someone does use it on me, I now have a retort unlike my helpless 7 year old self xD.

What the HELL are you doing? Seems to get directed at me a lot. Or things like "what music do you like. I tend to only really like one or two songs from a certain band or whatever, but I like loads of differnet songs and stuff, so it's quite damn hard to answer. -__-

Most questions about me. Seriously, I feel very uncomfortable talking about myself when someone just comes out with, "SO, YOU YOU YOU YOU?"

I don't mind it if my piercings are tattoos are asked about, but it does annoy me when someone goes into great pointless lengths and questions about them.
