So, I just recently got Oblivion GOTY deluxe on the steam summer sale, and I just got to the point where the king gets killed by the assasin, and out of no where I got about five different quests. They look like they're the dlc quests, but they talk about overhearing someone or reading a note, and I haven't even left the dungeon yet. Is this normal, or is it a glitch?

Thanks, I wasn't quite sure, i remember fallout 3 doing something like that, but it was talking about hearing it on the radio which made sense since you had it at the beginning.
The game was about 9 dollars when I got it at the time, but I think it costs a bit more now.

It's the DLC. Most of them are boring you-have-a-new-house-now-go-and-fill-it-with-pointless-items missions, but Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles are quite good.
It really confused me the first time I got them, and I thought I had messed up the save file with the Dev Console. I just can't resist those delectable little game commands...
