This has nothing to do with when the game will go out, but I have an idea. What if Dr. Kleiner mistakes a actual headcrab for Lamar, and becomes a zombie? Just an idea. If you want discussion value, what plot twist will you make for HL2E3?

It turns out Dr. Vance left a recording for Gordon, with the info about G-Man he was about to divulge in ep2
that would be cool

He debeaked to keep it as a pet. You wouldn't have a pet Headcrab if you had the chance.

Gordon Freeman is the G-Man from the future working for some other alien organization. That's about the most I could come up with.

In the end it turns out that The Combine are really the humans trying to save humanity, and the resistance is really a race of machines disguised as humans trying to destroy humanity.

Eli Vance isn't dead. He's in collusion with the Brain Sucker bug-I mean the whatchamawhosits (sorry, I was in Starship Troopers mode for a second), to take out the G-Man, a mutual enemy. You see, in spite of their incredible power, the Advisor's NEED Eli Vance alive to bait Freeman, and by extension, the G-Man, and bring the battle to their place of choosing.

Where is that? You might ask. Why, isn't it obvious? The Dark Matter explosion thingy is REALLY a portal to another world (not Xen), in fact, the home planet of the Advisors, where a Council is waiting to judge and summarily execute the G-Man, who's subversive tactics to twist those who would hire his pawns into continuing his genocidal war with the Advisors has lead to millions of dead.

The combine are really a reactionary force that's fighting the G-Man's pawns and trying to get him into a position to break his power.

How's that? Did I blow your mind?

The voragons work for the G-man. I say this because in HL 2 a voragon powering the TV with the Gman on it says, "we work for the same mystery".

I am SURE Kleiner will turn out to be evil. He is just like Verbal in The Usual Suspects - the bumbling buffoon no-one ever suspects. Just you wait, I bet he's one of G-Man's 'employers' :)

The gman doesn't really exist, and Gordon is just seeing things.
0_O What if everything, all the heroics, are just the insane delusions of a mad Dr. Freeman?

It'd be....interesting, sure, but I hope not =/
