STALKER Call of Pripyat (I loved the first but hated the second and now I can't decide)

Pripyat is the best yet, it has actually good none repetitive side missions, plus if you are getting it on Steam and already have Clear Sky or SoC then you get it for $20

The real problem I had with Clear Sky was just how hard it was to find the stones in the anomolies (I can't remember their name right now).

I always had the scanner go off but only one time in fifty or so would I be able to make one appear. Sometimes I could even see the particle effects they made but I couldn't pick the stupid thing up. Have they fixed that?

It sounds like a graphics problem, I've never had this happen in any of the games, but if you get an advanced detector it will show you exactly where it is in relation to yourself.
