Quick NFS Question

Is NFS Most Wanted like NFS Hot Pursuit? Trying to decide if i should buy it.

Its sort of like a mix between Hot Pursuit and Burnout Paradise. In my opinion unless you want it mainly for multiplayer than don't bother buying. There seems to be an overall lack of singleplayer content
