quick question about Kingdoms Of Amalur

can you play if you bought a used copy and someone already used the online pass(won't even be playing online)? I didn't know it was a EA game till i brought it home. Also can i access everything without going online you know the main single player mode?

ps: this is a birthday present to my sister!

I bought my copy used and everything works fine when you're off line. Nothing to worry about.

KoA can play without the online pass. The only thing it's used for is to get the House of Valor DLC pack, which $10 without it.

You're good to go, man.

Console version is fine, I think the Origin/Steam protection on the PC version will prevent second hand versions working though. (Steam definitely does, I don't have Origin)

Yep pretty much that. It still sucks that they cut out that content, but Kingdoms of Amular already has more than enough sidequests. Honestly, almost too much. It's a completionist's nightmare.

Don't worry about DLC. It adds very little in the scope of things. You'll reach the level cap anyway being a completionist in the main story.

Yea, I've just bought a used copy (fun game!) the "online pass" is just access to some missions and some Mass Effect Armour.
